I listened to them talk about this with Preet and he said that the Presidents lawyers testified in exchange for this right and that they could review and invoke EP once the report was available. The counter would be to subpoena Mueller but Oreet suggested they could block him from talking about anything that was being litigated regarding EP. this could be a major part of the plan for Trump, but I think it will make him look really bad, although I’m sure he doesn’t give two fucks.
Right across the street from my old sales office. They did not allow their staff to leave and work remotely today because uhhhhhh *checks notes* no fucking good reason
The rest of that article talks about that stuff and how bad that would be, but all I can think is the same. Trump doesn't give two shits and he knows the republican party will just cover for him.
ehhh, pediatrics group(NIH, mayo, and more) admits benefits outweigh the risks but dont blanket rec it theres plenty of evidence there are benefits
I should have said that the benefits are probably negligible so long as dudes just wash their dick, along with possible negative outcomes like lessened sensitivity. There's definitely a trend towards "eh, if you want" based on what my wife has told me.
That law was part of the hilarity of the Wall GoFundMe. They couldnt designate what the money would go to.
Benefits: less risk for sexually contracting HIV - mostly irrelevant outside of African/3rd world country HIV hotbeds. Also very small statistical decrease in UTIs, if people don’t clean their kids foreskins appropriately. Cons: conflicting and questionable “data” on decreased sexual pleasure without foreskin. Rare complications including bleeding, scarring, and deformities caused by incompetence/surgical technique. The most recent discussion point and why Yang aka “Reddit’s presidential candidate” brings it up... the biggest perceived “con” to the procedure is the anti-circumcision activists’ questions of the moral/ethical implications of irreversibly “mutilating” a baby’s genitals without their consent. Ie. What if they grow up to be an adult and don’t want to be circumcised. This argument that is massively upvoted on reddit whenever the topic arises is, at its core, completely ludicrous. Parents make dramatic and permanent decisions for their children all the time that have immense, long lasting impacts on physical, emotional and cognitive developmental domains and there’s no moral or ethical questions about it. The argument comes from atheists who view circumcision as a Christian cult procedure that should be banned because Christianity is bad therefore circumcision is bad.
Not that difficult. They were excluded from a government event on a basis that on its face violates the First Amendment
I'm gonna laugh so hard when a george conway type decides to represent devin nunes' mom pro bono and make things real uncomfortable for ol' saul goodman
He does not care about optics except as it matters to 30% of the country, if he blocks the release of the report it means that whatever is in it is damaging enough that even the 30% who would excuse anything and have so far provided him impunity within the GOP wouldn’t be able to protect him from the consequences. My opinion is he will release it, with a huge smile on his face, so long as it doesn’t directly implicate him or his children in prosecutable offenses. The effects on foreign policy, standing of the Presidency, precedent for future elections, and a host of other issues will cause great damage and otherwise until 30 months ago would have been the news story of the century, but it will be forgotten within a week or two, another catastrophic blow to democracy, sliding off the windshield because Fox News has brainwashed a third of the country’s population and the people with the power to check the Presidency wont do so because they’d rather enjoy the benefits of their position than stand honorably in the face of history and get primaried by some knucklehead who thinks Muslims are invading the US and gay people are trying to molest children in bathrooms everywhere. We are fucked.
Imagine a world where CNN or MSNBC would invest serious airtime conjuring up tacky anti-GOP/partisan nicknames as a group for presidential candidates
