true to an extent. I still feel that if we get Tyree the staff might well swing for the fences in the big back spot as well. Would very very happily wrap up tirek and tyree though
IMO... QB Pyne 4* RB Chris Tyree 5* Kyle Edwards 3* WR Jordan Johnson 4* Michael Redding 3* Xavier Watts 3* TE Mayer 4* Bauman 4* OL Tosh Baker 4* Jimmy Christ 4* Peter Skoronski 4*
I'm not sad about not having to listen to the CBS announcers anymore, but we were basically the only school that would/could play on all 4 major broadcast networks which was kind of cool I guess.
Also, it's the coaching clinic this weekend, with multiple open practices the next few days. Hopefully get a lot of good spring football info the next few days
this the most relaxed BK has been on media viewing in his entire tenure at ND and i absolutely love it
I agree but it’s one of those situations where he knows everything he needs to know about ND, been here tons of times, and is still very open. I hope I’m wrong but I don’t have a great feeling about him ending up at ND.
He changed himself and it's wild. I think he knows the product he has and is fine with people seeing it.
He started at IMG as a sophomore at a school that actively recruits He’s supposedly very good, like top 50 good
so ND is a national embarrassment again this morning. Some mom wrote a letter to the observer recently about how it was so awful that girls were wearing leggings, and she had to talk with her sons about it and she was so upset to see the trend continue. and now the debate got picked up by the washington post because some students protested yesterday by wearing leggings and the whole thing is just one giant facepalm. the mom signed her name to it as well, i really really hope none of her sons is currently a student
If he is, there's a chance he becomes a viral sensation like the dude who's mom said her son was so worried about #Metoo he wouldn't try to get dates.
Yeah, I've seen that. One tweet I saw was basically "if you can't raise your sons not to want to rape a girl in yoga pants you fucking failed"
Loy on Oline recruiting Spoiler Latest on Notre Dame offensive line recruiting in the 2020 class VIP ByTOM LOY 6 hours ago 21 Notre Dame doesn’t have any offensive linemen from the class of 2020 currently committed yet, but come National Signing Day in February, the staff is hoping to have at least three on board, potentially four. Irish Illustrated and 247Sports take a look at where things stand on the offensive line board as of today. SLIDE1 of 10 (Photo: 247Sports) Four-star offensive tackle Tosh Baker is a player I believe Notre Dame leads for. In addition, multiple sources close to this recruitment agree that the Fighting Irish are the team to beat. He’ll be back on campus March 30 and the expectation is that he’ll set an official visit shortly after that. Notre Dame has done an outstanding job with Baker and was in on him well before he blew up nationally. This next trip will be his second so far. SLIDE2 of 10 (Photo: 247Sports) Four-star offensive lineman Andrew Gentry is still set to visit Notre Dame for an official visit on Apr. 5. The Fighting Irish have a shot here, but the latest pulse has him heading to BYU, signing with the Cougars, then immediately going on a two-year mission before returning. We’ll see if things change when he visits South Bend in a few weeks. Crazier things have happened. SLIDE3 of 10 (Photo: 247Sports) Four-star offensive lineman Roger Rosengarten visited Notre Dame Monday and Tuesday. This was his first trip to campus. He spoke highly of offensive line coach Jeff Quinn during initial conversations and this was their first significant time together. Coming out of the trip, it didn’t seem like things went all that well. Early indications are that Rosengarten won’t be back for an official visit when he narrows things down. SLIDE4 of 10 (Photo: 247Sports) Four-star offensive lineman Zak Zinter just visited Notre Dame. The trip went really well and the entire family seems to be very much on board with the Fighting Irish. He called the trip “amazing” but wants to go in-depth on it after he finishes his tour of schools. He was at Penn State on Monday and then made it to Ohio State. The Irish really like him and believe he can play multiple positions, so there are no hesitations about him. My gut says Penn State wins this one, but it’s far from a lock by any stretch. SLIDE5 of 10 (Photo: 247Sports) Four-star offensive guard Peter Skoronski was recently on campus at Notre Dame and coming out of that trip, it’s clear that the staff would really like to add him to this class. Northwestern is a clear player in this race and he has a lot of interest, but Notre Dame is pushing hard and likely sitting on top as of today. It’s really close. Ohio State is trying to get involved, but likely won’t be a player in this race. SLIDE6 of 10 (Photo: 247Sports) Four-star offensive lineman Jimmy Christ couldn’t be more excited about his upcoming trip to Notre Dame. He’ll be in town on Apr. 5 and the visit is shaping up to be a big one. It’ll be an opportunity for the Irish to show him why he’s a great fit and a chance for him to snatch up one of those spots along the offensive line if he truly wants to be in this class. SLIDE7 of 10 (Photo: 247Sports) Four-star offensive lineman Reece Atteberry was all Ohio State early on and if Urban Meyer was still there he may already be committed. However, his departure opened the door for Notre Dame. Some closely connected here believe the Fighting Irish are currently leading and that happened following his unofficial visit in February. He was at Ohio State again recently and the Buckeyes’ staff feels good about him. He’ll visit Notre Dame in June. Those two schools are battling closely here and it’s expected that he ends up at one or the other. SLIDE8 of 10 (Photo: 247Sports) Four-star offensive tackle Chad Lindberg was removed from the “Top Targets” board. Notre Dame tried to get him on campus, tried to make a push, but it seems much more likely that he eventually stays home. Watch the Texas Longhorns here. SLIDE9 of 10 (Photo: 247Sports) Four-star offensive lineman Andrew Raym was removed from the “Top Targets” board as well. Notre Dame hosted him early, the Irish were definitely major players in this recruitment, but location seems to be winning out. Oklahoma is where he was once committed and there are plenty of reasons to believe the Sooners eventually get him back in the fold. Unless he changes his mind, reaches out to the staff with renewed interest and wants to visit again, this one seems like a long-shot at best. SLIDE10 of 10 (Photo: 247Sports) 21COMMENTS Four-star offensive lineman Geirean Hatchett was removed from the “Top Targets” board. The Irish hosted him early, he seemed to enjoy it, but hasn’t gone out of his way to get back to campus, stay in touch with the staff, and it’s looking less and less likely Notre Dame remains a player in this recruitment.
Wiltfong also CB'd Skoronski to ND Spoiler Logged a 247Sports Crystal Ball forecast in favor of Notre Dame regarding Park Ridge (Ill.) Maine South Top247 offensive lineman Peter Skoronski after talking to several next-level sources regarding this recruitment. Skoronski visited South Bend again earlier this spring and is expected back down the road. He attended a game last fall. Many of the college programs recruiting Skoronski believe he's looking for the strong combination of athletics and academics and they believe ND is at or near the top of the list. The Skoronski camp keeps things close to the vest, but that's the vibe they're getting. Ranked by 247Sports as the nation's No. 7 offensive guard, he is the only interior-type player on the offensive front Notre Dame is currently recruiting in 2020. Proximity to home could also help the Irish. Other schools mentioned as potential top contenders have been local Northwestern, not too far Wisconsin and Stanford. Skoronski is a three-sport athlete at Maine South also playing basketball and participating in track and field. “He is at this point the best football player I’ve ever coached, he’s the smartest football player I’ve coached,” said Maine South’s David Inserra who is one of the most respected head coaches in the state by college coaches. “He’ll be in line to be valedictorian of a class of 620 students. Talk about humble and work ethic, how he carries himself, he’s the top kid I’ve ever coached. You can’t beat the on-field production and off-field academics. “He’s truly the All-American boy.” 7COMMENTS On Friday nights, Skornoski showcases some of the best feet in the country along with the toughness coveted across the front. He goes both ways for Maine South.
Crippen is going to be a legit top 100 prospect in 2021, maybe top 50, as long as he keeps developing we are recruiting at a different level right now on the OL
He started and played very well as a sophomore at IMG. I can’t imagine the list of people to do that is very long
We need to do this everywhere, which is what Bama and Clemson do. And for the first time in maybe forever, Kelly seems to understand that. Whole lotta positive momentum.
on Redding Spoiler Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy four-star wide receiver Michael Redding III just wrapped up his first unofficial visit to Notre Dame. It was a trip the class of 2020 standout had been looking forward to for a while. Shortly after the visit was complete, the 6-2, 190-pounder made it clear that he had a great time in South Bend. "It was a great visit, man. I really enjoyed my time in South Bend,” said Redding. “It really was a great visit. It was better than expected. They told me a lot of new things that I didn't really know about. They informed me a lot about the stuff I really needed to know about. It surprised me, no doubt." Redding spent time with the coaches and players, toured campus, and left feeling good about the Fighting Irish. However, when looking for the highlight of the trip, it was easily the Thursday morning practice session. "Watching the practice was great. I really enjoyed that,” said Redding. “Watching the wide receivers and watching coach Alexander stressing the small details. I think watching the practice was really the highlight of the trip." Prior to leaving campus and heading to Purdue for Friday’s unofficial visit, Redding spent some quality time with head coach Brian Kelly. It was a talk that meant a lot to him. "It was a great conversation,” said Redding of his chat with Kelly. “We talked about a few things, especially about the recruiting process. He said to focus on myself and to not get too stressed out about the recruiting process. He said to focus on what's important" Redding was also able to link up with former IMG Academy player Houston Griffith, who is currently playing defensive back for the Irish. That, too, was a good conversation. "I spent time with Houston a little bit,” said Redding. “He's an IMG guy. We talked to him a little bit. It was very cool." Redding has a terrific offer list that includes Alabama, Auburn, Michigan, Oregon, South Carolina and many others. Some believe this is a Notre Dame-Florida State battle with Purdue right there as well. Redding isn’t ready to name his top school quite yet. "I do have a leader. I'm going to have to keep that to myself right now," said Redding with a laugh. Redding wrapped things up by sharing that he’s “definitely” taking an official visit to Notre Dame, but is unsure when that will take place. He’s also unsure when he’ll announce his commitment. 5COMMENTS Sources close to the situation state that the early enrollee is likely to be back on campus for the big official visit weekend at Notre Dame from June 21-23. Per the 247Sports Composite Rankings, Redding is the No. 162 overall player in the country, No. 32 wide receiver nationally and No. 26 prospect in Florida from the class of 2020. Loy's comments in the thread: Based on what I'm told, I still like Notre Dame here. It's close, but I like the Irish. If he comes back in June, as I'm told is the plan, look out. Let's see if the class can close. They could really use at least three from the group of: Michael Redding III A.J. Henning Xavier Watts Jalen McMillan Jordan Johnson The staff is fired up about this top of the board group.
Regarding the Liverpool match I never saw it here but the rumored opponent is Borussia Dortmund at the stadium next year.
