It was boring and by-and-large pretty irrelevant to the real story line of the siblings (at least up to this point). I don't really care about her backstory to be honest. But I am not an advocate of skipping episodes...so watch it.
Pretty spot on. I enjoyed the episode....and think skipping any would be dumb...but for the most part irrelevant. I also find Beths cousin to be incredibly attractive, so enjoyed her being in quite a few scenes.
I don’t think its pretty irrelevant to the storyline since it shows how she gets to the dance academy in the future
Agreed....not sure it needed an entire episode devoted to it tho. But, that is why skipping it would be a bad move.
Does it really matter how or why she got there? It’s debatable as to its relevance to the overall show. Maybe it will be...we’ll find out in later episodes as the full story comes together. I really don’t care how or why she got there. Again, we’ll find out how necessary this part of the storyline was to show as the full story progresses. As of now, it just seems like a ‘filler’ episode.
As some one who has seen people relapse and has been sober for almost 3 years. It was very very well written. I was hoping he went to open the box and not the whiskey. HIs shear disappointment in himself while riding and being praised happened all to many times when i was using.
Toby should whoop Kevin's ass. He needed to man his drunk ass up and drive Kate to the nearest hospital.
- Fuck you I feel like an incel right now but why does this bastard Kevin keep getting amazing fucking women to fall in love with him. He is way too fucking horrible of a person to have fine ass Sophie or fine ass Zoe - I feel like a terrible person to want a fictional baby to die but fuck Kate soooooo much. I’ve also had that trailer for Chrissy Metz new christian fuckfest movie jammed into my head everytime I see a movie so that also adds into my anger. - I feel so conflicted. I don’t know whether to be #TeamRandall or #TeamBeth. Beth is my queen. and Randall is the best out of the shitpile that is the Pearson family. Probably because he has no Pearson blood in him.
The first season and a half was a ton of Jack, OG Will, Randall and Toby. Kevin knew his place as an idiot with a pretty face. Kate was less of a focal point. And Rebecca could just let Jack takeover every scene instead of grasping for feels with a “I remember what the hospital was like” story Show is definitely nowhere near what it was in the glory days. It’s still better than the vast majority of shit on tv right now though
Catching up in the last 2 weeks. Toby and Miguel right after Kate’s kid is born. Haven’t laughed that hard in a long time. Toby the GOAT
pretty realistic depiction of a marriage slowly drifting apart. well done randall wyd taking your mom out mini-golfing w/ you on a date
Me after watching the R & B episode Not only do they kill of true love but they just had to bring back a William flashbach DAMN YOU DAN FOGELMAN
Show got me so caught up, I’m over here trying to think of solutions for Beth and Randall. Like, maybe they could could move closer to the city. Where is Beth’s studio? While we’re at it, can we discuss the Pearsons’ financial situations. Can someone give me a number of what they think Randall and Beth’s savings were sitting at when they both left their jobs, Randall ran a campaign while unemployed, putting 3 kids through school, living in a big fucking house in the Philly burbs? What does Toby do? He was laid up in bed, depressed, for a month while Kate was singing telegrams. They got a puppy, kept their LA apartment, started buying kid shit. Now they’re both in the hospital while the kid is in the NICU. At least we know Kevin has The Manny money, coupled with the Ron Howard movie.
Thought it was a very good episode. Appears the season finale is gonna have several huge cliff-hangers.
I’m a wizard. Showing an end for Beth and Randall, as well as hitting toward one for the other two triplets means they’re probably winding down the show, which is good. Did Kate die? Miguel die before Rebecca? Kev’s kid was white. Nicky?!?
Returning to this, I love when Beth looked around her class after saying she’d cover the Sunday AM class, and realized Randall was right about teaching moms who can barely dance.
- THANK YOU TV GODS FOR SAVING THE GREATEST BLACK FAMILY ON TV SINCE FAMILY MATTERS (Maybe that means Deja is Urkel?) - Loved Deja pulling a Randall on himself - Nooooooooooooooo Zooey. She has it right tho being the fun aunt/uncle must be better than being the actual parent. Stupid Kevin. - Kevin’s future kid sounds exactly like young Kevin - Nicky being alive in the future means I’m right. The good people die young and the horrible people live longer than they should. Like with Rebecca. - I won’t be emotional when Rebecca dies tbqh. I don’t care too much about the Joan Crawford of This Is Us. - One time I loved Kate was when she was trying to push Rebecca to live further away from her. That was good. - I would still fuck the shit out of 90 year old Mandy Moore tho
I really liked the season finale. If Kevin's kid is somehow via him getting back together with Sophie, that will be an annoying storyline.
I haven’t checked IMDb, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the kid that plays kevin’s kid is the little brother of the one that plays little Kevin. That would be some dynamite casting.
So Becca has Alzheimer's? Wonder if Kate picked up on the signs since she aware that Becca is writing down everything so she doesn't forget anything or is she going to be completely useless to the signs the way she was with Kevin.
MORE ‘THIS IS US,’ MORE DRAMA The popular drama’s return wasn’t in doubt, but NBC cemented its value to the network by renewing it for what it called an “unprecedented” three more years. Whether it will continue beyond season six is “open for right now,” said Paul Telegdy, who is co-chair with George Cheeks of NBC Entertainment. Series creator Dan Fogelman “has a plan for the show,” but Telegdy wouldn’t tip his hand as to whether that plan will mean even more years with the Pearson family.
