It’s the same bar. Hell you have to enter Dark Horse and wait in a line in Dark Horse to go in 10 High.
“The 10 High Club at Dark Horse Tavern in Virginia-Highland isn’t much of a secret anymore due to the popularity of Metalsome Live Band Karaoke!” –AJC Point Clown Baby and Gaknight
I don’t know anyone that refers to that as dark horse. Dark horse is the overcrowded shit show with not enough bartenders. 10 high is a good time.
Yeah that's not right. Dark Horse doors are in the corner and 10 High is up thr block on Highland and go straight downstairs
You can enter from either. You just don’t know that because you’re smart enough to never go in Dark Horse
You enter the two establishments through different doors Just bc they have the same website/owner doesn't mean they are the same place
Do they not teach reading comprehension at Auburn? Clearly, I was not recommending the upstairs bar to an out-of-towner.
I assumed Barners only show up there during their sporting events. Every time I go in there it feels like the same 12 people at the bar were there the last time I walked in there 6 months before.
These illiterate bastards can’t see the forest for the trees. The downstairs live karaoke is very appealing to visitors.
98% of people in there chain smoke. It's a giant cloud in that tiny place and as a non smoker it's literally hell.
Park Bar in Buckhead? Bookhouse in Westside? Why are you trying to confuse this tourist? Cypress is a good rec though
I don't see a Cypress street in south downtown, if I'm reading a map correctly. I see one in midtown on W Peachtree St
I'm really just giving yall a hard time for not agreeing on the damn neighborhood or bar names. We're flying in for 420 fest and a Braves game, so there won't be a ton of downtime, and probably only one nice meal Thursday night. Places to go after the concerts are over and places to chill/eat before is really what I'm looking for. I've bookmarked all the suggested places, really appreciate the recs
All of his recs are wrong locations. Park is Downtown and Bookhouse is east on Ponce. The Cypress in midtown is a good place to grab a few drinks any night of the week.
Driving through on the way to Augusta. Thinking about a quick dinner and a beer or 2. Looking at Fox Brothers then Porter Beer Bar, are those decent? I've done fox bros before and seemed not to tough to access from 20.
It's not tough to access from 20 -- make sure you're going to the right location, and it's very close to Porter -- which is awesome btw. I'd do Porter if you've eaten at Fox Bros before. If you want my favorite burger in Atlanta (the Diner Burger), hit up Albert which a close drive from both Porter and Fox Bros.
There are tons of places to eat at the battery. Antico is really good pizza. Fox brother's is great. Lots of places to drink as well. Can't go wrong with fox brother's imo.
Anyone played Bobby Jones since they renovated? Friend booked us a tee time out there this morning... None of my friends have played it yet wanted to wait till grass had somewhat turned to spend that $$ and all google reviews are pretty bad.
Think it was $80 when I looked which is hysterical. I do use the range regularly though and it's the best around imo
