hey how bad is the spoiler thread? I'm a book reader and I do the book threads no problem. I've seen most of the preston jacobs and alt-shift x videos. I stay away from shit like script leaks, though. Stay out until the series is over?
What makes you think it’s going to be part of the show story? Seems they would’ve mentioned by now. Maybe they have but I cannot remember.
Yeah I think it was mentioned here and there in season 2/Stannis and Mel stuff. But since then they got away from the books and that stuff sort of fizzled out
would be a real shame if some intern at HBO just released all the episodes, like, right now real shame
Stannis was stabbing burning wicker men on the beach of Dragonstone trying to turn his sword into lightbringer.
Everyone debating in this thread like no woman has ever leveraged the throught / threat of pregnancy to get her way and then suddenly becomes not pregnant. The craziest and most vindictive bitch in all of westeros certainly would never do such a thing.
actor who plays Bran is nothing like his character but the actor who plays Tormund basically is Tormund
Wondering if Ghost and Nymeria are reunited somewhere and will show up together – leading a shit ton of wolves – in the fight against either the Night King or Cersei. Because let's be honest, the direwolves are cool but have proven to be relatively worthless outside of a few Ghost moments and rescuing Bran from the assassin.
It was never shown on screen but Grey Wind was very effective for Robb's guerilla style attacks. I don't have any hope for Nymeria making an appearance, she left on like episode 2 or 3. But yeah, you're right.
Ding ding ding. In taking on a dishonorable perception, he did what his head and his heart told him was the honorable things. If there was one thing Ned consistently showed it was that he gave no fucks about what other people thought of him and how he went about his business.
well what if something happens to the dragons before they flee? what if the night king turns water into ice? like sure maybe the iron islands are a good hide out. it also might not be. I dont think it will come into play, so i dont really care too much.
I really really want NK to obliterate Yara’s reddit hack with a single scene where Viserion roasts the whole of the iron islands. Perhaps during a retreat to the twins in episode 4/5
Yeah I think I remember reading that they had to choose between animating the dragons and the direwolves budgetwise
Not sure about mad, but that happening seems like a pretty far off ending. She’s made mistake after mistake so thinking she ends up on the throne after all is said and done just doesn’t seem very likely.
The only reason I brought it up was based on Euron's now bullshit line about going there to wait out the war in safety.
I don't give one fuck about Theon or Yara, the show version of the Iron Islands is as pointless and worthless as the show version of Dorne.
Seems the show runners admitted as much in the first episode. Hours of narrative erased in just five minutes. Theon will have a role to play in the Great War, probably a sacrificial one, but seems like iron islands sideshow is over
I think there would a lot of pissed off people. She’s been a Cunt since episode 1 and has been responsible for killing off lots of people’s fav good guys. I don’t know if i would be one those pissed off people but I would love to see her killed.
My thoughts on Cersei Spoiler sometimes we have a tendency to assume GoT will always zig when we see a zag. For me, it’s almost too obvious where they’re going with Cersei and I’ll guess it’s not a feint. Don’t think she’s pregnant and think Jamie will learn that and this one final manipulation will send him into choke mode as prophesized. And what a brilliant Shakespearean moment it will be.
Reminder that B&W both said that George gave them three "Holy Shit!" moments when he broke down his vision for the rest of the series (after season four wrapped and as they started developing season five). One was the burning of Shireen Two was Hold The Door/Hodor Three... Hasn't happened yet. What could it be? My guess Spoiler The Night King flies right by Winterfell and sacks King's Landing, maybe even turning Cersei into a White Walker the way he did Crastor's babies and Viserion The Battle of Winterfell is a big feint. The good guys mostly win and then learn the million+ people in King's Landing are all wights headed their way.
