I will say moving down and getting more picks and then flipping that lower pick was pretty well done. Flipping last year's #10 into this year's 62 and getting the other picks from reading down from 48 and then the extra 5th is quite a flip.
Great draft so far loading up on 2020 picks. If Rosen pans out you have your franchise QB and a ton of picks. If he isn’t the answer you didn’t waste a bunch of picks on him
It’s such a low risk, high reward prospect, and hen we moved back and got the extra 2020 2nd. Considering it’s no sure thing tua even declares next year, I don’t see why you wouldn’t make this move and see how it goes
If we thought he was a franchise QB, why didn't we take him last year? Grier was part of that decision. You can talk about value all you want but it doesn't matter if the kid can't play. Paying a price for Arizona's mistake last year makes zero sense.
Tua is a lock to go. You think he's going to stick around and play second fiddle to Lawrence? Half the league will be trying to get Lawrence so for those who think we aren't going to be to land Tua will all the ammo, we suck as fuck aren't going to get Lawrence
But hey, Grier was in the room so he was the reason the Dolphins didnt trade up for Rosen. Poor argument
The logic of waiting to draft Tua as if it's a given whoever holds #1 would trade it is flawed. And we won't be the worst team next year.
Not wanting to take this low risk shot on Rosen because we’re worried about fucking up the small odds we are 1 overall next year is insane too. If you’re A believer that Rosen is as bad as he looked in AZ then he probably wins less games than fitz anyways
I think Deiter has played several positions on the OL too which could definitely come in handy. Is that true #Wisconsin Badgers ? Good pick for us
Well we gave up the chance to actually get a quality player that can help us on the field with that pick. I don't care about having a good backup QB... I just don't know what we will learn about Rosen. We've already seen how he's done with a shit roster. If we weren't built for a tank then maybe I understand this a little better. I guess it just comes down to whether you think Rosen sucks ass or not and I know what camp I'm in. Oh well maybe I'll eat crow. I'll stop beating this dead horse now.
Apparently the initial reports that we got a 5th in 2020 were wrong and it’s us giving them a 2020 5th
Um. Becuase he was taken the pick before us? Imagine the easy scenario that we very well would have taken him. Now 1 year later we have him and our actual pick at #11 in minkah.
Yeah that's what I meant, sorry it wasn't clear. Low odds of the owner of #1 trading it and low odds of us being the ones holding #1 so I love this trade

Even if he isn't good...taking a low 2nd round pick on a top 10 QB prospect is a good trade. These idiots are so into their own fantasy gm minds
I'm not sure we'd target Willis since we drafted Wilkins earlier, but he's great value at this point. Guy was a beast last year and someone is gonna get a great player if his baggage is behind him.
