There's another Fitz chilling (literally) in space in a cryo chamber with Enoc right now. That's what they're referring to.
I wish May would die with Coulson hopefully that was the last we see of her. I've hated her since season 1 episode 1
Mr. Stark I don't feel so good.... ... ... ... ... .. .. Mack I think my legs are broken..... Me: Fuck Marvel
Wait... What? Spoiler Trying to work this out... Every time the loop happens, the team goes through the wormhole forward in time, Fitz freezes himself, they all come back in time to the present, and then the Earth blows up. The last 27 times, May lives and becomes Robin's adoptive mom, YoYo lives long enough to meet herself come through the wormhole, FitzSimmons live long enough to have a kid who had Deke, but everyone else probably dies. This time, though, they come back and save the Earth but, in this timeline, the loop is broken, so even though Fitz is frozen in space waiting to catch up to them in the future, they can go find him in space and tell him he doesn't need to do that?
Are you sure about this? Infinity War takes place two or three years after Civil War in the MCU timeline. With the obvious exception of them traveling WAY into the future, I don’t think AoS has had any kind of time jump in the main timeline. I don’t think The Snappening will happen for two or three more years on AoS.
uh, what the fuck are you talking about? AoS is not just in Civil War time right now. It basically follows MCU timeline, give or take a few days/weeks.
It just doesn’t seem like the series has progressed two or three years forward after Civil War. At least to me. But apparently the “official” MCU timelines have AoS running concurrently with IW, so I’m wrong.
Thought it would be a good ending to have coulson look at May at the end and when the lean in to kiss she gets dusted.
Not seeing Agent Phil Coulson is gonna fucking wreck me man but of fucking course they bring back Worthless Ass May
Was bored today and watched a couple eps from the 2nd half of season 5 again, including the finale. I forgot just how much that pissed me off. The entire season sucked. Daisy was the worst. May's been awful for years. And killing Fitz, the best character and actor on the show for the last 4 years (by far), was a fucking joke. It wasn't even a heroic moment, either. It was just a building falling on him out of nowhere. I don't care that they can bring back frozen Fitz. It was a bullshit move and I kind of don't want to watch again when they bring it back next summer after that.
Spoiler He’s currently frozen in space waiting to wake up in the future. That future never takes place now. They said in the finale they’re going to go get him. Yes, there a some huge holes regarding time travel in bringing him back that way, but, come on, it’s AoS. It was pointless to kill him really, since it was resolved so easily.
I think they’re good friends. I remember seeing on her IG earlier this year that she was backstage at a few of his concerts.
Not sure where the story will go, but I was hoping for a fresh start with no Coulson. Instead, we get the opposite (even if he's someone else now). I don't have high hopes.
No spoilers as I've ignored every post in this thread but is this show good? I work from home and am constantly searching for shows to watch I havent seen or saw a long time ago. This I've never seen. First 5 seasons worth it? Be truthful. I have season 6 set to record on youtube TV.
The lack of Fitz in that trailer annoys me. I know some of the stuff from there is them searching for him in space, but still. The show has done some dumb things in recent seasons, but killing Fitz like they did in the finale of the last season was by far the dumbest.
Watched the season premier after basketball tonight. I'm still annoyed by the Fitz thing and wish they'd just move on from Coulson, but I'll let it play out for at least a few episodes.
Watched the first two episodes tonight. A lot better than last season. Still thinking it’s a multiverse Coulson. The Fitz near misses at the edge of the galaxy could get annoying if they drag it out. Hopefully they get him in an episode or two. Dig the new girl on Coulson's team an unhealthy amount right now. I’d gladly be her butterfly.
This is where I’m at with Coulson. Seems like the film/TV departments have actually been working together for once. This is a Coulson from an alternate universe. AoS itself takes place in a different universe than the MCU prime (616). Basically, the multiverse is Disney’s way of making all its TV shows canon, without directly tying them to the movies. They take place in alternate realities.
What evidence? It could be a timeline incredibly similar to the 616, but with changes like Coulson surviving and no Snappening. There is absolutely no evidence in the 616 universe Coulson actually survived (or was brought back) from being stabbed by Loki.
That really doesn’t matter. Some timelines are almost identical to the 616. Others vary wildly. At least if they follow the comics at all. The AoS timeline may swerve from the 616 once Coulson is killed. Another (like the one “Sarge” is from) could have taken a turn much earlier. Just seems to me Disney is using the multiverse concept to explain all the inconsistencies in their properties. And it’s frankly a very smart move. Fans can’t really argue why AoS hasn’t aligned perfectly with the 616 since Season 1 when the response is, “That’s because AoS is in an alternate timeline.”
I'm sick of Coulson, don't like either story line at this point, and hate everyone involved in this show for Fitz being in space doing stupid things.
