Ndombele, or a CM, is still needed regardless of Eriksen staying or going. We have to replace the Dembele role, allowing Eriksen/new signing and Dele to play further up the pitch.
Also stories that CE is negotiating a four year deal. We definitely still need a NDombole type no matter what to replace Dembele. I also want another dynamic attacking option.
I don't know why I am so obsessed, I know it's going to take time for these deals and that we slowplay it every fucking window, but I've been f5'ing r/coys every 15 minutes or less.
I don’t know who linked it earlier in the thread but I’ve been on the Transfer Rumors section of Spurscommunity for the last couple of weeks.
The conversation makes you want to kill yourself. People there are such assholes and usually so off with their opinions. Yes, but I still read it.
Shit source TalkSport citing shittier source S*n reports we've bid 60m fancy L's for N'Dombele. I think that's a fair offer, given that Lyon valued him at 66.6m and we valued him at 44.5 according to an earlier report from the Guardian.
Report from Estadio Deportivo that we are willing to go up to 70m fancy E's for Lo Celso. Report from O Jogo yesterday is being possibly misconstrued today by goal.com to say we've matched Bruno Fernandes' <62m fancy L asking price. If we plop over 180 million on three players, I would not know what to do with my hands.
Fine with the jersey and I do believe this is real as Brazil unveiled a similar Nike jersey, but the training top is Disney tourist special. It may be the single worst piece of authentic merch I have ever seen.
I’m convinced this is a conspiracy to get fans to not buy in order to justify not spending on transfers
Sounds like Jack Clarke from Leeds May be close to done. Young strong, fast winger who can take on a defender and has good size.
Then again, Tier 2 source Alisdair Gold says it's less than done. https://www.football.london/tottenh...ws/jack-clarke-tottenham-latest-move-16445096
Yes, I saw that. The fact is the bookies said it was done and one of the insiders has been saying it is likely based on outgoings. Not sure who the outgoing will be but have to figure the roster is not staying as is. Seems a good prospect. Kid is a bull and has some skill.
Hope we don't have to pay a ton for him and loan him back out. Besides the obvious midfielder we need I'd really like to see our fb's overhauled. I'd prefer to keep Rose but if we can get a good price for him I wouldn't hate selling. RB depth chart needs to be completely blown up.
It’s pretty much a consensus out there that we will bring in someone like a NDombole and/or Lo Celso. Many people think both. I just don’t see how both come in if Eriksen stays, but of course I would welcome it. Clark helps the home grown part. Not the same position but I see him as a cheaper younger option to a Maddison or a Grealish or Zaha for a roster spot. Then there is Sessegnon. I think other fullbacks depend on outgoing like Rose or Trippier.
Quote from Lyon’s Chairman, Aulas, on NDombole... "What I can say to you is if you see a very good box-to-box midfield youngster arrive, in the coming days, then there will be a chance that Tanguy Ndombele leaves, but for the moment, we have not received offers of the level that we feel is a just price." This sounds like it is close to me.
If he wasn’t homegrown, I don’t think we’d have much interest in Clarke. He’s decent, but I basically see him replacing GKN and that’s it.
My buddy sent me this. Don’t ask me why he follows a trump on IG but he works in DC so I’m assuming he follows a lot of political people.
It's fake. It's fake. It's fake x100 It's been posted and reposted to the spurs subreddit all day and it's a waste of an f5.
My wife is going to love it when she comes back from being out of town and a giant poster of this is in our bedroom.
Lyon signed a young midfielder from Flamengo. Aulas said that was a necessary prerequisite before moving Ndombele. Couple that with them supposedly wanting to get the business done with before the fiscal year ends at the end of the month and I am officially on pins and needles.
Don’t love but don’t hate it. Our champions league unis should actually look good assuming the shorts are just white.
Sky reporting the deal is done https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.sk...nham-agree-65m-deal-for-lyons-tanguy-ndombele
