My wife wants simplisafe, but the reviews on amazon are iffy. We have a blink system currently, but she's not in love with it. What's TMB consensus on the DIY home security systems?
I don't know but I just bought a Nest Hello, Nest in door camera, outdoor camera and a collapsible floor that looks like a rug with punji sticks at the bottom. It's Alexa compatible so I can yell "Alexa disembowel the intruder."
Can I got to whole foods today for lunch and use my $10 credit in their food court for a lunch on them?
Nest/Ring seem pretty similar. I went with Nest Hello just because where my doorbell is located is very narrow and a Ring is going to be too big.
Alright. You sold me. Ring + echo dot for $67 ain't bad. I have a very wussy cattle dog with a very terrifying bark that will probably pair very well with this new doorbell
Y’all send yourselves a $25 Amazon gift card and use the code GCPRIME19 at checkout if you haven’t already. They add $5 to your account.
On the hunt for a $150 or less small speaker system, finally got the ol vinyl record player set up in the living room. The shelving unit is narrow at under 20" wide, so my initial idea to get a soundbar is nixed. Anything you've seen today? prime day
Digital. Bought 10 mins ago and have already applied the $25 to my account. The $5 might have some lag time but I look at it as cash back since I’ll inevitably buy shit from them later.
Not what they just said when I called them. I should have gone to Whole Foods first and had lunch and then bought my Bluetooth speaker and Cleveland steamer then added the $5 credit from my $25 GC.
Wife is wanting a security camera system for the house and outside before the baby comes. My house is pre wired for two outdoor cameras. I don't think we need monitoring but she might want it so not sure if I should use a service or what
Annoyed that the Sonos beam gift cards are two literal physical gift cards being delivered Wednesday Was really hoping to roll that $100 into some linens, drain stoppers, string lights, and protein powder
Looking for light bulbs that don’t need a base and work with homekit, in case anyone sees some cheap such little miracles
Try the Kasa / TP-Link, I'm not sure if they are homekit though. I use Lifx, but those aren't cheap and they're starting to have some issues with service - and I'll be switching to tp link going forward
Would like to see the scale of the water bottle against something similarly shaped. For science. Thanks.
I found Feit at CostCo on sale. Have 4 of those and a spot light. Works great with my Google Home setup.
