I believe Family Video owns a bunch of their own real estate, so they can collect rents from other businesses in their strip mall type locations. Then they have that partnership with Marcos Pizza that helps keep them open.

really deep dynasty mode and what looks like ps2 gameplay. most would say the ps2 era ncaa games were the best ones. so shitting on the gameplay makes little sense. its a tiny studio making a game they care about. the franchise can become good and would give ncaa competition if that were to ever return, but it will die off before it gets there if no one buys it. so, even if it plays like an old game, i'm going to buy it and you should too.
In researching that game which looks and sounds kinda shitty I just bought a used Xbox 360 and NCAA 2013. Guess I never should have gotten rid of it in the first place.

No coaching carousel. 68 player rosters. I like to sim so the gameplay wasn’t that big of an issue to me, but these are pretty much deal-breakers. I don’t have the time to edit rosters, team names, conferences, uniforms, logos, etc. Edit: also no commentary, one playbook, and 11 non-customizable stadiums.
Not upset i bought it. Game has "promise". In a couple of years when a big dev decides to start making games again there will be a decent competitor on the market.
they dont have to. but consumers will. if they come back next year or two with a product that solves the few, albeit major, problems people will play the game. it doesnt have to play like madden for people to buy it. of course many would say madden and the rest of ea sports games arent even good because theyre made in an engine designed for first person shooters.
They did this year. Thats why we're having this conversation. Because people are paying attention to the game. If those who had played it said it was a decent game, more would buy it.
Who is this game even designed for? Seems like casuals will just play madden and hardcores will be offended by the lack of options.
