Riverside / 5-points: Kickbacks Aardwolf Intuition Ale Wife Rec Room Beaches: Southern Swells Reve Engine 15 Really Good Beer Stop
I started to go to Southern Swells yesterday but didn't want to risk it between traffic and storms when I was waiting on my friend. Went to wicked barely, wasn't bad at all. Definitely want to check out Southern Swells and Aardwolf, had tried them before at Southern Grists anniversary party. Thanks for the other suggestions
If you are over in that part of town, Alewife & Rec Room are pretty much next door to one another... Kickbacks is less than a mile away. They are all about 5 minutes from Aardwolf. I don't agree with dblplay1212 often, but Kickbacks is definitely the most unique & a must visit, if you can get away. The food is pretty good. It's where Zack Zedalis & I met for the 1st time , for beers and a beer trade.
Went to the brewery in Fargo when I was there for work a few years ago. Nice spot and the beer is really good. If anyone happens to find themselves in Fargo I would recommend crossing the state line and hitting up Junkyard in Moorhead.
Also went to Disgruntled Brewing in Perham, MN. That is a super neat spot with good beer. About an hour east though.
Not my first rodeo, besides I’m already taking Monday off work to recover from the weekend so already planning on not driving and staying a night or 2.
Just wasn’t sure if you had been there before. Everything worth drinking there is mostly 14% abv and beyond.
No I haven’t been there but I know myself with their beers and just breweries/distilleries in general.
Their food is much better than you'd expect too. If I weren't out of town next weekend I'd invite myself down, Solera released a new IPA a couple days ago I was wanting to get some cans of. Also, changing my lunch suggestion from earlier; there's a pretty new place called Mother Road Market that is a really popular food court type place with all local spots. There's also a bar that has a lot of the different local breweries if you want to try some non-Prairie stuff
Pm me and we can setup shipping. I honesty just don’t use it. Won it at a raffle thing and I always carry a wine key & bottle opener on my key chain so just don’t need it.
Just got back from Burlington. Brought back 3 packs of heady and 2 bangers. Not sure if people still get excited about that, but theyre pretty good and not bad at all for $12 a 4pack. Was even able to keep it cold during transit. If you're in Burlington then you must stop at Foam. The best beer I had in VT.
Sometimes you need a nice little night cap. Also, I hate to inform you but your Auburn logo is now out of date.
