Well with that said - assuming you have a good tailgate spot - I would rather watch it from the tailgate personally. If it's a good setup with a big TV, etc. You can watch a game at a bar anytime. Watching a game from the tailgate in Athens, GA is only possible a few times a year. If you do watch it at a bar, I'm sure you'll need to be there quite early. Georgia Theater may be an option but I've never personally watched a game there.
I have an extra ticket for Murray State - it may be on the 50 (LL) or it may be in 326, depending on where I decide to sit. I'm taking my daughter and stepdaughter so 326 may be where I sit for ease of access. If you need one, let me know. Face.
It does not really sound like Marshall's foot is where it needs to be. I sort of wonder if it ever will be but hopefully I'm wrong. I was hopeful he would be back this season as I think he can really help us along the front. Anybody got a feel for this one?
With a lisfranc fracture you either fix it or fuse it. I have no firsthand knowledge of what he had done. That being said in a college lineman I would have fixed it but if you look at the data fusing it has better outcomes. http://www.coa.org/docs/2014annualmeeting/presentations/HarrisREVISEDLisfranc.pdf
Yeah, Rice is slow and Crowder has taken some really bad angles so far. We need cleanup hitters there.
I didn't seem him grab the facemask on that one replay but I guess we're even for that horse collar from earlier
Defense looks mediocre. 11-14 passing 0 sacks 4.8 ypc TOP is equal. Vandy caused more 3 and outs than our D.
Solid opening win. All three phases looked awesome at various points, got a comfortable win, got experience, came out healthy. Defense clearly needs the most work, but the playcalling and execution after the first quarter were also very weird. Nice (though unfortunately boring as balls) that we have two shit games coming up before ND.
What kind of crowd do we expect in Athens for the home opener this weekend? It may be the hottest day of the year. I am still planning on taking my girls to the game but it's going to be absurdly hot. 4pm kick is better than noon but still not great.
Guessing it’s full capacity to start, but starts to lose steam after the first quarter. Bet it’s significantly empty at the start of the 4th. Maybe the 4pm time helps, though.
As long as Athens is jumping before the game and people show up, I don't really care if it clears out. I'll be in the shade and I need to get back to the Georgia Center for LSU/Texas regardless. Me trying to handle two eight year old girls by myself for the first time at a Georgia game may be borderline insane but here we go.
I'm driving up Friday and spending the weekend in Athens. Still haven't gotten tickets. Is the majority of the home side in shade by 4:00? Trying to be strategic with where we sit.
