I should listen to the whole clip but the unrelated radical terrorism comment in the first few sentences just made it feel like a farce.
Reporting on the ground from Charlotte, NC at the Young Democrats of Mecklenberg County watch party. Most aren't sweating this too bad, but a good turnout at least for a special election that only covers a small slice of the city ...
My guess is he prefaced his comments and was being a smartass bc Republicans would try to discount his comments by playing the religion/terrorism card. He honestly sounded a lot like Jon Stewart.
It's just such a weird map. I'm about 5 miles away from the part of town that is in the district, which stretches out to a 2 hour drive in Fayetteville ...
They literally tried to steal an election and won’t be punished for it. Shows you how strong the cult is. Very cool.
So the people who trump hasn’t helped at all? I’ll bet they’re not attracted to the fact that the only three things he’s followed through on are: racism, fucking the environment, and appointing judges who make rulings that fuck them. Honestly, this race shouldn’t have been close. A win gives trump juice, and he’ll now be even less likely to listen to advisers who ask him to temper his wild Twitter bs. That’s good for Dems. Always run the best candidate, and never feel bad or stack the deck if the candidate is perceived as “too progressive” for an area. A smart candidate can communicate with their communities.
The newest member of Congress Gab controversy In August 2017, Bishop contributed $500 toward the establishment of the social network Gab.ai, a website best known for its white supremacistuserbase.[22]Antisemitism is a prominent part of the site's content[23]and the platform itself has engaged in antisemitic commentary.[24] At the time, Bishop made a Twitter post saying that he decided to make the contribution in response to what he called a California "tech giants' Big Brotherroutine." In that he referred to a newspaper account regarding companies such as PayPal and Facebookcanceling accounts used by organizers and funders of the Unite the Right rally, in Charlottesville, Virginia.[25][11]Bishop's crowdfunding contribution attracted attention the following year, after the Pittsburgh synagogue shooting that murdered 11 people and wounded three policemen and another congregant, committed by man who was a Gab user.[26][22]
this race fits more along the lines of national partisanship than Dem overperformance due to moderation, he expanded margins in urban and suburban areas and shed even more in rural trumpy areas. which is what'll happen '20 and has been the trend. special election turnout is weird so not something to really care about too heavily especially as he still hit 10% better than district partisanship which falls in line with Trump approval/general ballot prediction, i guess the counter hypothetical is that the trumpy margin loss would have been greater with a non-conservative Dem but i'll wait to see if they make that argument and have the details
I’d like to know what this Indian demo liked about trump in 2016, and where warren polls with them today.
I can’t exactly tell what hack (Cramer) is saying. It’s either that execs are afraid, and they think she needs to be stopped. Or they’re afraid, but he hasn’t heard anyone say that directly. At any rate, I miss Jon stewart humiliating him for being a negligent POS on tv before the recession.
The own the libs "jokes" come at you so fast it's hard to keep up. There seems to be one about light bulbs now that I also don't understand.
Trump rolled back the efficiency standards for light bulbs. And then joked he did it because he looked better under the old bulbs
I can understand the light bulb one. If you aren't paying triple for electricity for the same amount of light, you're a pinko commie. It's the same as fuel efficiency and pollution standards for cars. Sometimes I just sit in my car on the side of the road, gunning the engine and breathing in the carcinogens, so no one will think I'm some sort of libral pussy.
#Neverforget that dear leader called in to a New Jersey local tv show and bragged about how he had the tallest building in Manhattan after the towers fell.
