Frankly, if they could give us a view where we see every route by every WRs from a press box view or maybe a little closer I would absolutely love it. Maybe like 20 yards down the field and sideline to sideline from up top.
But I bet it would be a very very frustrating experience, especially if book continues to play like he did against Louisville.
Is it more just getting used to the new angle or can you not see the play as well? I didn't watch Sunday night (or much of Thursday) or the spring game. And as someone who is only going to one or two games this year, I can no longer look forward to watching from my seats
It’s hard to describe why it’s unsettling - it’s almost like the camera moving makes it harder to focus on what is going on....you also can’t see any of the field close to the camera
Oh, I actually kind of like this. You can see everybody and you can see the play develop. The camera moving is a bit annoying but it’s not worse than when a cameraman tries to follow the ball and gets faked out by a read option. I also hate when you see the ball getting tossed and you have no idea what is going on in the secondary until the ball gets there. You miss if there was defensive holding, I want to see as much of the field as I can with it being still close to the action.
I think we would get used to this in a hurry, it’s not comfortable at first but it gives you way more in the end...that Is also the line I use to try to sell anal sex to my gf.
Problem: ND having issues selling out home games due to folks staying home to watch every game on national TV. Solution: Make it mildly nauseating to watch the game on NBC with a moving overhead camera.
I am the only one that likes this idea and I would probably be the first one to throw up on a Saturday afternoon because of it.
It’s starts out fine, but as soon as the ball is snapped they start zooming in and moving the camera around and it makes it hard to tell what’s happening.
Like I said, in an ideal world we could see sideline to sideline and 20 yards down the field from up top. Not straight, but enough to see everything on the field. And if it’s a longer throw the camera follows.
I'll try to make this quick , around 8/20 I have a mild seizure (they think), Never had anything like it. just lost my legs and next i know I I am crawling to the couch. get there and still feel fucked up call my dad, he takes me to the ER. After some messing around they admit me .No clue what is what is happening my admitted drinking issue pops up so they start to pump me full of detox this is when shit goes nuts, the detox drugs fire off 3-4 days of extreme delusions, spend 5 days fully watched in ICU. They finally get a drug cocktail ,that brings me back to earth and my body freaks, forget how to walk, etc. Back to ICU. Finally get dosing straight (I hope) and admit myself into 14 day wellness/rehab/PT. Just got home, and man does it feel good Reading, no outside connection, shit food, and being happy about pill time.
Stay strong friend. Ummm. If you didn’t already...let’s just say don’t watch the game and just be happy ND is 1-0
I got to watch most if the game, I remember nothing other than hating Juwan Pass. Right back at it this week. I am ready for a home game. If my brain pigs out I might get to watch two for one or something.
Holy shit dude glad you’re okay. That sounds terrifying to go through. Let us know if you need anything!
I got to watch a "Proud boys v. anftifa riot. in which I snacked the shit out of a proud boy (nurse's assistant, this got me strapped to the bed ) and then was tortured by witches (nurses) until I woke up, Then i still thought it was real for days. I was truly in a different world.
at least its great to have you back. Be well and better soon buddy. See you in a month exactly (kinda feels unreal to me btw)
I hope Chef Goldblum gets big enough to be invited in the booth for 2-3 minutes and just goes in on Doug flutie the entire time.
Actually watched a couple of his podcast videos and sent it to my Asian friend who got pretty offended by it. At best, it's low brow content meant to shock. Fuck that. I'm not hoping his career gets ruined or anything, but hard to root for him. Enjoy the show. For those who don't know what I'm talking about:
Guys, its not an "old racist video"; its from less than 12 months ago. This is his thing. This is him. Even if he gets fired, I guess he becomes a conservative free speech icon and releases a special called like "Baby Liberals and Safe Spaces" in a few months. So he wins.
I just hope he apologizes and gets the gig. But I always see everybody as the best they can be so I never thought of him as a racist
Chef is a dude with classic white male grievances. He is funny. He isn’t racist. He does push the boundaries to make a point that just because he is white and male doesn’t mean he can’t make a joke like taking about nuders.
Fuck that. You don't get to say racist things then claim you're "not racist, you're just a white male who can say what you want to push boundaries." That's the definition of shitty white male privilege and isn't funny. I don't get how that video of him making fun of Asian people's accents is even remotely funny. But if we're cool cuz he's "our racist" or a couple of you got beers with him at a tailgate, whatever.
