He’s got to be intentionally obtuse here. He was driving the Matt Flynn for a second trade however many years ago that was too. I’m glad we’re tanking for tua or Herbert. I just have no idea what the point of the Rosen trade is now.
We had 2 2nd round picks, we took a shot on him and it’s clear this staff doesn’t think he’s the future. Some young QB’s workout and some don’t. So because he didn’t workout should we not hope for Tua? I don’t remember this Flynn stuff but you remembering it is kinda weird
The Rosen trade is irrelevant if you have a shot at Tua unless Rosen is truly great the rest of the year. Tua is an elite QB prospect. Don't overthink it.
Nobody is overthinking that side of the situation What we’re saying is that a 2nd round pick was completely wasted and the front office should be held accountable for that as well
Ah. Yeah that's fair. If you're planning to be historically awful on purpose then yeah that whole trade was kinda pointless. Hard to even give Rosen a fair evaluation tbh. Sucks for him and he's had a unfair career to date, but...can't wait to see Tua next year
So what's everyone's price to be happy losing Minkah? For me, it has to be a 1st and a 2nd from a bubble playoff team like the Titans
I'm of the opinion that you don't trade Minkah unless you get a good bit more value than a likely late first rounder. It's just dumb imo to say you're gonna trade a good player with years of cheap control for less than you acquired him for. How does shipping a good first round pick off for a later unknown first rounder help the team or the rebuild at all? Most likely it doesn't. I can't see another team going big enough to make me happy so I hope he's not traded TBH. I'd need a 1st plus
Fuck, playing fantasy Gm, Trade 1.1/tua for a shitload, tank for Lawrence in 2021 with another 3 first round picks in the bag.
