So we’ve basically had no production from Harrison and Flowers so far this season. What’s the deal with them?
For a team that is supposed to be great at stopping the run, we haven't set the edge against the run at all this season. The Chargers destroyed us with it, and Philly just did the same.
alright with taking the points considering they get the 2nd half kick - but that 3rd down route was dumb as shit
I don't understand why Amendola didn't run into the defender there coming back to the ball. It's an easy flag, and now we're about to waste a TO.
Hi, we're the Lions. We'll not only lose this, we'll find a crazy, ludicrous, completely obvious way to lose this.
My impression of Bevell to this point is he's much better than JBC at scheming up big plays, but his overall offense outside of those 3-5 plays a game has sputtered a lot. Not sure how much of that is him and how much is lack of execution from the QB and OL.
It won’t shock me if we lose this by two scores. We are ultra conservative offensively and defensively yet again. The lack of blitzing is infuriating.
Offensively, I think Stafford has really struggled this year on plays where his top option isn't there. You watch Wentz today and he's reading plays and finding open guys, both in the pocket and when it breaks down. When Stafford's #1 isn't there, he looks really shaky and just throwing it up a lot of times the first three weeks. Seems like there are a lot of plays where he's looking at WRs and wondering why they aren't doing what he's expecting. Not sure how much of that is the new offense and how much is Stafford just fucking up because the OL sucks and he's panicking.
