Completely anecdotal, but relevant -- I cross the border into Canada about once a month/more than ten times per year. It is shocking how difficult it is to deal with the US Customs agents when re-entering the US. It's almost always a fucking interrogation.

My wife’s younger cousin was detained coming from Scotland to Canada and into the US. They asked her if she was Muslim, where’s the country of region of her last name and demanded she give them her Facebook and other social media passwords. She refused for nearly 3 hours. Certain people look at brown folk with a “funny sounding lady name” and have a negative image in their heads, but she’s a country girl with a slight twang.

If Trump is removed from office Barr, Pompeo, and Sondland will go to prison for this, at the very least. Most will get away with it because nobody wants the appearance of political purges, even if they deserve it.
