oh wait I had it mixed up, thought we'd still be a point down but if they hold on we control our own destiny for second
So if we win the first two rounds we will have to beat nyfc in their bullshit stadium to make final? Color me pessimistic.
I just don't think we've had enough time this year with our full arsenal of attacking players to really get things clicking. It's felt like two steps forward one step back the whole way through, and even if Josef can get ready, it's a tough ask for this team to show the consistency to make the run. Honestly what has me the most excited at this point is the potential to have a full and healthy roster with a year under this system going into CCL. And who knows what can happen in terms of roster management with the new CBA
We have to hope someone knocks them out. Hopefully the Yankees make a deep run into October so that NYCFC can’t play there.
looks like if LAFC wins they'd top that by two though, plus Vela just needs one goal to top Josef's mark Gonna be dual fan'n with Colorado on Sunday
The Parky love at the end and the ceremony after the game had me in my feels. Gonna get a Parkhurst Jersey for the new kit next year.
Did you hear any news that Pity Martinez will leave? A lot of reports are saying that my club is very interested. Did he have a bad year?
It’s been a rumor and he hasn’t fit in terribly well with the system we have (although he has improved towards the end of the year).
been several rumors throughout year that he hasnt been happy, not acclimated, etc. Dont think his kid and gf are here full-time either. And, other than no longer having our training sessions in spanish like he was expecting, we have enough Argentines that the transition shouldn't have been that difficult. He's not been good. Slow and turns the ball over too much. But been nice on some set pieces. Few bright spots. Think Flamengo was rumored last year before us. River and some other Argentine clubs are rumored too, but the rumors in Argentina seem to be constant no matter what.
Miles injured his hammy training with the nerd fuck national team, back in Atlanta for further evaluation
wonder if we'll move to a 4 man backline with the success NE had literally just playing for the counter last game
Barco looks like an absolute monster today. Wow. Guzan has had a couple great saves. I really hope missing our 2 early 1v1s doesn't come back to bite us. I haven't gotten a chance to watch much lately, but surely there's a world where we are a better team with Pity and Barco can be on the pitch at the same time. I know we looked awful early season with both of them, but SURELY there's a way.
think Pity sitting is largely an answer to not having Miles as a safety net, who knows though it's a lineup we really didn't get to see much of with how little Barco played this year
Ref called a dive. I agree with the call. I'd be pissed if an opposing striker pulled a PK for that bs.
He barely brushed it from what it looked like -- nothing that warranted that crash to the ground. It could have technically gone in ATLUTD's favor, but it would have been bullshit imo.
Pogba has completely changed this game in a matter of minutes. He's done so much in so little time. Always love Franco. Pumped.
so Parky's supposed to be out a couple of weeks and Miles isn't expected back by Thursday, this is getting fun
Philly on Thursday Much better than dealing with Luis Robles plus that Defense and Bradley Wright Phillips Interested to see if Bedoya injury is serious
