Y’all seem obsessed with Dem leaders’ dental care status. Everything that you all mock related to the cognitive and physical aspects of aging is what y’all will deal with eventually, if you’re lucky enough to persist that long. This is not assured, given the fragile and dependent nature of millennials.
you and all the other geriatric fucks don’t speak for me, nor do you speak for the majority of Americans. It’s 4:30 here so you’re late for dinner
You're arguing plan over position on an issue. She wants healthcare for all, but feels there may be a better way to achieve it. I am not sure she is right, but the specific solution is not synonymous with her stance on the problem. Honestly none of us know the best solution, but I think we all agree that everyone should have affordable healthcare.
Paula White, regarding material wealth in 2007: "Anyone who tells you to deny yourself is from Satan." Matthew 16:24: "Then said Jesus unto his disciples: If any man will come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me."
Incorrect. She wants the ACA. The ACA isn’t healthcare for all. It’s healthcare for most. You could not have health insurance if you didn’t want to for a small fee.
I hope he does the right thing. He will be beloved again and I think it will help him politically long-term. His automatic firearms stance may have killed him though. Hopefully he finds a way to walk that back to something closer to the current democratic position.
Obamacare is a vehicle. It's not a completed product. Her goal is healthcare for all and obviously the current/previous Obamacare did not fully address that. I think all Democrats agreed that there was more work to do beyond where they got to prior to Trump.
He took a very extreme stance on firearm confiscation that will be a major focal point in Texas if he runs for Senate. You don't agree?
That's not what it said in the tweet that was quoted. Again, most people who supported the ACA recognized that it was not a finished product. I honestly don't know what solution I support. I just know that I agree with the goal.
Not really. I don’t think there are many Beto leaners that would flip due to firearms and the ones that do would likely be canceled out by non-voters that were inspired by it. Either that or demographics that get more Dem-friendly by the day.
I hope so. I don't claim to know, but it just seems like baggage at this point that he didn't have previously.
I don’t consider that baggage at all. Either way, Texas is getting less “mah guns” by the day. Obviously there’s still that element, but those people wouldn’t support Beto in the first place.
No more than people who’d come out because he’s tough on guns. If you’re contemplating voting for Beto, being in favor of lax firearm policing isn’t one of your hot-button issues.
The fact that they are doing this for a reality tv star is so fucking crazy. What is so unique about trump that makes all these people so fucking crazy? Or is he just picking people that would do this no matter who was asking.
Have their version of the facts shifted where the whistleblower report isn't exactly the same as the summary report they released??
That's a blend from when Schiff did his dramatization at a hearing and trump thinking his call was perfect. I think he thinks this investigation started because of what Schiff said
He wants a face for the impeachment so he can make it personal and attack them mercilessly. Then he hopes people ignore everyone else that has corroborated the story since and just go with his abridged version.
My coworker was making this argument today... shut him down with this timeline: Aid was released after Congress started asking questions
