don’t know if Bohn won the power play with Folt in regards to hiring Urban—supposedly that’s what caused the mini delay in the announcement. If he did, then I guess it’s Urban’s job if he wants it. We should root for the cowboys to finish strong tho. Meyer flat out said he’d take that job and I think Jerry would seriously consider making the offer if they fall short with Garrett. Don’t forget he’s only won SBs with championship winning college coaches.
As a ND fan i hope this win finally puts an end to this ridiculous assertion that Clay is a dead man standing. Gotta bring him back after manhandling their rival.
"Glory to god" Clay isn't going anywhere, sadly. Slovis is really good and is the starter for the rest of his career at USC.
if clay is staying why hold off announcing it? The uncertainty hurts crootin if this is happening because Meyer’s a no and we’re looking at candidates like Fickell then I’m actually resigned to another year of Clay. The reason goes back to Sark’s hire. What made it so demoralizing was knowing he’d be here for a minimum of 4-6 years or longer. Shit, had the scandals not broke and had he not shown up drunk he’d prob still be here.
Heard on the radio that USC has like the 70th ranked class. That can't be right, right?? AD trying to get himself fired after 3 months on the job. Impressive.
From the way that hire went, it sounds like the AD didn’t have much power anyway. This is the school president making the decision on the football coach.
11/12 in the PAC and zero top 250 kids. One player that’s not a lineman or a specialist. https://247sports.com/college/usc/Season/2020-Football/Commits/
If it true this sucks but then again we would/will screw up the hiring of his replacement. Looks like we are headed for a 7-5 or another 8-4 season next year.
That offer list is brutal too. 1 top 100 offer that they're CB. That might be the worst SC recruiting class in 20 years.
yes because he has proven not to be able to recruit. It’s more the indecision that is hurting them than the coach.
imagine 3 years ago telling me I'd be upset that UCLA was contemplating parting ways with Chip Kelly after only 2 seasons
Southern Cal has top 5 talent under Clay. It’s literally the only thing he has to show for in 5 years.
