Jordan is refreshing actually. If I have to hear someone describe playing a “scared game” again, I am going to puke. If people stink at a challenge he will let them know and isn’t afraid to go to an elimination. He doesn’t care about pissing people off, and he’s really good; dangerous combination. He can be abrasive but I appreciate him being upfront. Pulling for him and Tori way more than anyone left.
Jordan is incredibly full of himself, and it’s difficult to come away liking him. With that said, the guy doesn’t back down from going into eliminations at all, and he completely backs it up when he does. Other “strong” competitors seem to talk a big game, but backpedal pretty hard when it seems to be their turn. Jordan seems to welcome it. Can’t stand the guy, but he deserves to win.
I think said it best during the toast. Called Jordan a dick but he loves him. Pretty accurate. Much respect to Jordan. He’s a beast and welcomes the challenge.
Paulie talks a big game for a guy that won 1-2 eliminations and nothing else of note? He keeps talking as if him and Jordan would be a good match-up and wants to “run with him.” Dude has done nothing of note to think he’s in the same stratosphere of a guy who has won 2 out of 3 shows he’s been on.
as much as I hated him before bananas needs to come back and be in the late-season fold. it isn't the same without him imo
The fact that Rogan has yet to go into an elimination but acts like he's calling shots is one of the most frustrating parts of the season. Dude is a moron, but I do find it funny how he's blatantly two-faced to Dee.
Haha yeah, she told Cara she would have to come do it herself. I love that. Those girls up there shitting bricks because Tori trucked Jenni.
I think I disagree, though normally I wouldn't. This has been a really enjoyable season and I haven't thought about Bananas since his elimination until you brought him up. A lot has gone on this season. Normally I'd miss the role he plays, though
I think the Paulie and Cara villain thing going on this season is great for one season, but if those 2 were suddenly the focus and the string pullers for a bunch of seasons in a row it would be awful. Glad to hear that won’t be the case on the next one.
judging from social media and reddit and I think you're likely in the minority on enjoying this season. This season was all politics with the actual competition taking a back seat. They need to figure out a better balance. MTV must monitor fan reaction closely because just like after the Lavender Ladies season, a lot of Cara's Cult isn't being brought back
Don't disagree at all, but having Bananas in the mix certainly wouldn't help that particular complaint.
After the proposal Jordan/Tori episode that Cara mocked, I saw an article that said she’s lost something like 25k IG followers in the following days. Seems that most are growing tired of her act. It’s a small thing but if that’s how people interact with the show, they can’t have someone that divisive. Or maybe they like that. I am 132 pages deep in a thread on a TV show, all sense of what’s right is gone!
yeah, his days were numbered from the beginning. He's not like Jordan or Theo being able to win multiple elimination rounds. But him or Laurel would have helped to hopefully balance the alliances more. This season got too one sided too quickly. Also him being in the house would mean less screen time for Dee, Ninja, Cam, etc. which is always a good thing
I've liked this season as a whole. I oove the way they do everything in one episode too. No more cliffhanger bullshit. The competition is always an issue because of political bullshit. Nobody is gonna ruin a chance at seven figures. They need to find a way to make it 100% performance based. Lowest each week goes home
So much comeuppance went around that episode. Joss for being terrible strategically/politically, Kayleigh for leading the charge against Georgia and Josh gets voted in by his own team, amazing episode. Rogan is such a dirtbag and coward, he reminds me Bananas from his early days.
I think Rogan is the worst cast addition in a long, long time (yes I know he was on that one season where he died running up the hill).
I think this season has been highly enjoyable but they have to throw in more wrinkles to disrupt the alliances. At no point should the option of throwing a challenge ever be on the table. Poor performance should always be auto elimination. i hope tori/jordan win. Hard to root for anyone else.
I think one reason the competition has taken a backseat is that the daily challenges have been ridiculously lopsided, AND they basically don’t matter at all except for the random person who gets selected as speaker. Being able to throw your own teammates in was good for drama, but really the dailies haven’t mattered
I'm going to give the US alliance a ton of credit here. It's truly amazing how they've teamed up with all the bad Brits and got them to decimate their own team for the "alliance". It's been amazing.
I’m convinced if Jordan had two hands he wouldn’t be on these shows because he’d be some sort of professional athlete.
Cara crying during the swim might have been the most pathetic thing I've ever seen. They at most swam 150m out and back... So 300m. I never swam in HS but grew up surfing and did long distance swimming for triathlons. 300m, especially in a fucking life jacket, is nothing. At an extremely easy warm up pace this is like a 6 minute swim. I could understand a rookie sucking dick at swimming, but every other one of these people could go to a masters swim class 2x a week and easily become one of the best swimmers by the next season. As much as they train for anything else, the fact they don't swim is shocking
I don’t want it to turn any further into just a CrossFit competition, but I’m glad they’ve basically eliminated the people that are totally worthless athletically. Watching a bunch of girls who couldn’t do a pull-up try to politic their way to a final was dumb.
Loved the emotion Leroy showed. You can tell he really cares about the competition and the work he’s put in to learn to swim.
So just noticed, Rogan looks to have lost quite a bit of muscle mass since the beginning of the show. Tori has been looking good this season Lol at Dee running right back to Rogan. Outside of a few instances Paulie doesn't seem like quite a douche this season, could just be Cara making him look good. Lol at Joss crying again Nothing new but Ninja is still so bad Think that makes Jordan 7 for 8 in eliminations
Looks like they’ll stay teams through at least a big chunk of the final, and it sounds like he rightfully berates them for sending home half their best players throughout the game. I really hope they lose to CT, Jordan and the Brits
I don’t think there’s a twist coming to make it be a single person final. I think it stays team the whole way. To me that favors the team with the less people. Plus a Jordan is the best person there. Brits have the advantage.
Glad CT finally broke the hold Paulie had on the UK team. I'm shocked Rogan was able to finally Understand he was fucking over thier own team. Zack is a terrible teammate. It's going to be great to see him lose his shit with ppl he hates and while Paulie dies Oh and my girl Ashley proves herself again
Not really gonna was the thread since I’m just catching up on this last season, but Laurel going crazy because Wes unveiled his plan and then exposing her own plan to everyone, and then immediately getting eliminated, was glorious. What a moron
This is shaping up to be one of my favorite seasons in quite awhile. So much karma, like a damn movie
This has really been a great season. How can the UK possibly lose? The US clearly cheated with the weights and paulie literally died out there.
Seeing Cara and Paulie suffer is highly entertaining. Don’t understand why MTV would give away the twist like that with the puzzle coming up
