All reviews seem good. 400 plus seems like enough to me, but I’m no Poke expert. How’s the board like it
Really enjoyed it after one game. Got through the first gym last night. The strength of wild mons grows quickly just changing from area to area in the wild zone
wild area is dope. haven’t left it. if they applied that to a future open world pokemon game, then baby you got a stew going
there’s a setting to turn off the movie cut scenes if you check under options i believe completely unrelated to your post, but you can also change the difficulty a little bit by changing the default ‘shift’ battle style to ‘set’
Theres an Amazon treasure truck by me with sword and shield duo pack today. I'm tempted to get it but I also know a year from now ubersword and ubershield will come out for same price with a ton more pokemon and features...
the D-pad is good the "left-stick drift" is still an issue (even bigger on the Lite since you can't just swap it out for a new joycon) comfortable to hold though it can be awkward using the right stick for extended periods of time, like in Doom. Also reaching for the minus button means either curling your thumb over the left stick or just sliding your thumb over to it (which means inadvertently moving the stick) decent battery life
Downloaded Sword overnight, will play when I get home from work. Fire-type starter for me, as per tradition (outside of X)
If anybody wants a Scorbunny with 3-4 perfect IVs and Adamant nature, I literally have a box full of them.
What's your code, best friendo? wait, I don't have online membership. I'll get back to you about that at a later date.
SW-8445-9389-1786 For anybody else interested as well. Will be busy breeding for the next few weeks, I typically rack up quite the count.
Check that, I actually have an extra one with five perfect IVs (all except Sp. Atk.). High Jump Kick, and an Adamant nature
Switch got hit with dead battery 2 weeks ago, the day we bought the lion king /Aladdin combo , sending into Nintendo whenever we finally get the return box
So I have a six year old son who is dead set on getting the Nintendo switch for Christmas. I was trying to steer him towards an Xbox s. Am I wrong in thinking the Nintendo platform is cool but at 300$ vs 150$ is it really twice as cool?
xbox s might be obsolete in a year and the switch wont be for 5+. also, nintendo has a lot more games aimed at a younger audience than other platforms.
The switch lite is $200 and places are offering deals like $25 gift card with purchase it’s handheld only but then don’t have to worry about kid taking up a tv, and better battery life if you wanna take it on the road
Well to be honest I don’t mind the tv option I actually prefer it because he can’t read yet so it will be best when we play it together and I can use prompts as an opportunity to help teach him. I also wanted something to keep myself entertained after he goes to bed, but a lot of the Nintendo games don't seem as interesting to me as the Xbox joints. I just don’t want to end up with a dust collector. What are the best titles right now?
Bruh I’m a poor. Gonna be just one or the other. You guys got me sold on the switch though. That Zelda game looks tight
It’s incredible. It’s been on sale too so hopefully you can snag it because Nintendo’s titles rarely go on sale.
Beat Luigi’s Mansion 3 with my 5 y/o, playing co-op. It was fun bonding with him over it, but I’m glad that is done. Some parts of the game are genuinely difficult, and having to constantly bail out someone made it almost rage inducing at times.
Dauntless is on the switch now. F2P game from Epic, it’s a light version of Monster Hunter World. Cross play on all systems
Are you sure you didn’t play with my wife? I’m tagging along as Gooigi and taking down most of the ghosts. She genuinely enjoys searching for the hidden stuff though and finds most of it. Might need to dive back into Captain Toad since that is essentially how she plays this.
Hope she takes advice and follows directions better than my son. Be prepared for using two controllers simultaneously, when your kid doesn’t know what to do and throws it in your lap.
With that said, it is a well designed game and has some very fun moments. The high fives and hugs from your kid will make it worthwhile.
Anyone ever get a Labo? did some light reading and appears the vehicle one is the most fun, but looking for more input
