It was on 2 catches. His career high is 5 catches. He has all the tools to be very good, most believe. He's just had some injury and attitude issues. Like Constant said, a change of scenery could be very good for him.
This play pretty much sums it up. 3 and 10 runs 8 yards and then just goes out of bounds (this lead to a hilariously terrible wildcat on 4 and 1)
Gattis certainly never liked him. PSU didn’t offer him, a four star WR from New England when Gattis was our WR coach.
We did this with Joe Burrow a few years ago. Whoever gets Brendan White is getting a stud. No clue what happened this year.
Can't imagine he will go far away from home with William White's health. Had to play some part in this strange year.
It checks out based on how it has gone so far. Apparently he's been a really bad influence on some others because of his attitude.
In the Transfer Portal era, who is the most accomplished player to transfer? So not counting guys like Fields, Mayfield, or Murray who had a bunch of success at their destination but didn't do much at their original school. Who was the biggest loss, basically?
I mean, it wasn’t a loss for Bama, but Hurts has to be toward the top of the list for most talented that left.
yeah, i guess it's Hurts. I was trying to think about non-grad transfers because the grad transfer rule has existed for a while - Russell Wilson was one - but the portal is newer. just curious if there was some sort of all-conference lineman or WR or something that switched schools. i guess everyone just does it in their last year.
Yep. Jonah Jackson was first team All B1G and Rutgers team captain. Transferred to OSU and started from the jump. Arguably our best OL out of a really good group.
Do grad transfers count? Jon Greenard was probably SEC DPOTY if he was t out for a few games in the middle of the season.
Greenard was who I was thinking, but he wasn’t that great at Louisville. He probably would have had a good year last year but suffered a season ending injury on the first series of the year. He was OK the year before but only started five games for them.
Yes, he’s graduated so he can go wherever. His tweet said he’s also considering pro options. My guess in Enterprise
Peyton Powell is now a Schiano Man Texas forever https://n.rivals.com/content/prospects/2019/peyton-powell-208762
He’s very fast and showed some signs early on of being good. Got hurt and didn’t try at all to come back. He’s from a 3A school in Arkansas and I can’t remember the last 2A/3A kid to come out of Arkansas that has ever been worth a shit at the SEC level.
