From dean's chunk of tt: "*I was talking to my local Hy Vee store director (I’m not kidding), and every year they serve the team their Thanksgiving dinner before the Heroes game"
From 247 this morning: Spoiler: Recruiting Rundown 12/13 Nebraska is back on the recruiting trail as the Huskers have a few short weeks to pull together the bulk of the 2019 class. Thursday was again a quieter day for the Huskers on the trail, but plenty of questions remain as Scott Frost and staff look to bring this thing home. — Nebraska coach Scott Frost spent the entirety of his Thursday in South Florida. The Huskers have a number of targets in the state, with several very important ones all clustered in the same area. Nebraska was expected to go in-home with Ronald Delancy III and very likely would’ve stopped to see Marcus Fleming and Jaiden Francois on the same trip. One name to consider, even as Nebraska was left out of his recent cut down, is Bryan Robinson. Nebraska hasn’t done well at the receiver spot and perhaps a last minute effort could put the Huskers in a better position. Robinson is now visiting Florida State this weekend and the Seminoles look tough to beat there. — Because Frost spent his time in Florida, it means he never made it to California and the Huskers appear to ultimately be passing on their opportunity to have a head coach go in-home with Darion Green-Warren. Likely a strategic move here, because Green-Warren appears to be headed to Michigan based on Crystal Ball activity. Still it says something when Frost makes it to see Myles Slusher, a target previously thought to be off the board, over a trip out to California. — Nebraska’s flight is expected to head to East Texas, where Omar Manning dwells currently, and if the in-home visit includes Frost, it’s curious the Huskers would use that one already. Especially if reports are Manning isn’t signing until February. But if the Huskers could convince him to sign early, and are comfortable about his grades… — Barrett Ruud was barnstorming around the metro on Thursday, making all the key stops, as the Huskers are going to have to fight to land any of and especially all three of Omaha Westside’s Avante Dickerson, Creighton Prep’s AJ Rollins and Bellevue West’s Keagan Johnson. Dickerson just added a Michigan offer, and the Wolverines are doing more than kicking the tires as it relates to Rollins and Johnson as well. Throw in nearby Thomas Fidone and Iowa Western Community College and 2020 is going to feature a lot of colleges stopping by Omaha to check those recruits and more. 12COMMENTS — Ruud’s big battle right now will actually be to convince the mother of official visitor Keyshawn Greene that her son should leave Florida to play football. This feels like an uphill task, and Nebraska’s weather isn’t going to help any, but the Huskers will sell playing time, family atmosphere and continuity. Perhaps that can be enough? — No update yet from Alante Brown, but Nebraska continues to host players as Niko Cooper, Tanoa Togiai and Greene visit this weekend.
Huskdawgs, we have a walk on running back named prather Hudson who entered the portal earlier this week in case you're interested. Could be the next sex fuckhead.
Gad damn Lexi bringing some heat. Also I salute her for #SupportingTheTroops with her choice of sports bra.
Former Huskette player and asst coach Dani Busboom just took her Louisville team into Austin and beat #2 seed Texas. GBR!!
I would assume so, otherwise no reason to go public. But rational thinking is thrown out the door with recruiting
We aren't concerned with regular season games. Our vball program counts success in terms of natties. Imagine never having won one, yikes!
