I did the same. I showed 1-2 minutes after opening. There was a single file line of customers grabbing the available inventory and taking it to the register. No idea when people arrived. The coffee variant was gone. I grabbed the Mon Cheri.
I remember when BCBS was a thing. Spoiler Still have a bunch old ass bottles that moved across the country with me.
It’s 82 degrees in Texas right now and I’m drinking Live Oak Pils and watching football from my parents’ pool
https://www.craftbeer.com/news/brew...ing-co-from-constellation-brands?src=12319_FB So ballast point was bought by constellation for $1 billion and was just sold to a brewery I’ve never heard of that produced 650 bbls last year...
Last Tuesday it was Very Green x 4, King Julius x 1, Juice Machine x 2, and Very Gggreen x 1 but no stouts. I was happy but left wanting Also, Autumn is great
Autumn's great indeed - the recent Lights Out was quite mediocre though. Had a couple of Single Shots recently and man they were solid..
Going to drive up to treehouse in the next few weeks, probably once they release their winter seasonal
I wanted to get some stouts, but they didn’t have any when the guy who got them for me went last week. I checked their website today and they have 3 or 4 now.
Hopefully their brewery opens in January/February they’ve been mostly brewing out of Great South Bay in Bay Shore
Well if you manage to get your hands on more, I'd love to try some. I've been meaning to try it out. My brother in law is from around there but never goes back home.
Had the Westbrook Santa Claws tonight. I’m not a huge fan of the hazy ipa phase but this one was pretty solid. 3 Claw is still my favorite of the line-up but enjoyed this one a lot too.
travelling in Europe and this is the first decent beer I've come across. The water is definitely cuntier than the beer
in Basque country where amazing wine and ciders are everywhere for $2 a glass. No real need for that here.
I know there was talk of TG stouts recently $10.25 for 5oz pour of morning delight where I'm at. Might be too steep for my blood. $3 for Odell bull proof is nice though, 10oz pour.
Anyone here have a side project hook up and willing to trade a Coexpressionism Kriek for a Hill Farmstead bottle?
Left an Ozark BDCS in the fridge at our land. Come back a month later to find out my dad, probably drunkenly, drank it. I never had a full can of it to myself. I'm irrationally angry. Bet that old bastard didn't even finish it.
I tried it a little while back and it was fine, I find most big stouts taste similarly though so not the best judge.
i've stopped paying close attention to the national beer game but walking into a hyvee beer section and finding CBS and KBS Espresso just sitting on the shelf reasonably priced will always be weird
Went to Total Wine last week to grab some Christmas beer and saw bombers of CBS rows deep. Buncha other really good stuff too, BCBS variants. Definitely felt odd.
Accurate. Minnesota Game Day. In 2005 it was a really cool beer that served as a gateway to craft. In 2019, it is just ok. There are so many more interesting beers readily available.
Spoiler It is a fine example of a mediocre style...and by that I mean a style I do not prefer but will drink if something better isn't available.
When I was in college I bolted class early to stand in line for a CBS bottle release (spring 2011ish). I was like 2nd to last before they ran out and realized the whole thing is fucking stupid. There’s a lot of good beer. You don’t have to wait in line for it. Glad that’s finally come around. I can go grab a CBS or KBS any old time.
