I fully admit I’m no basketball genius and we are frustrating to watch at times. Extremely frustrating. Florida is running a lot of Beilein stuff and the team I work for now has run it the last 3 years. Here’s what I see: It’s a read based offense that takes a lot of reps. To me it looks like Nembhard is the only person running it correctly consistently. The problem with him is he does not fit with anyone but Blackshear. Those two are half court guys. Those freshman need to run. I think Mann is the key. He’s their best pure offensive player but has looked awful thus far. He can do both transition and half court O if he gets right. He’s really good and I don’t recognize the dude right now but I think that is him adjusting more than White stifling him. I didn’t see much today because we had a game. Saw an exchange in the second half where we played great D and Baldwin made a contested 19 footer at the shot clock buzzer, then we go down on O and run a great horns set and get Nembhard cutting and he throws a great touch pass to Locke on the wing for a wide open 3 and we brick it. It looked like that encapsulated the day. A possession or two later Nembhard throws an absolute dime on a no look where he comes off a Blackshear screen and looks like he’s going to throw the indirect to the wing and zips it to Blackshear for a dunk. I guess what I’m saying is that there are some moments that are extremely high level that look great mixed in with the huge droughts. They looked coached. They go through stretches where they get great looks and don’t make them. I just don’t think that they will suck long run. When I’m watching a game I usually look for who is getting the best looks. Who is getting lay ups or wide open 3s. That’s us quite a bit. White is also usually really good out of timeouts and breaks with plays and baseline outs. Maybe we never put it together but I see signs. More signs at this point than last year. I didn’t think we would make the tournament last year watching the first 10 but we improved a ton.
First set of NET rankings. Good stuff Aggies! 7. AUB 23. ARK 25. TENN 26. LSU 46. MISS 58. KENT 73. MIZZ 76. UGA 78. FLA 90. MSU 96. BAMA 99. VANDY 145. SCAR 281. TAMU

Last night was brutal. This year we are a garbage conference full of garbage teams. Quite a bummer after last year.
Auburn is decent, but the rest is yucky. Arkansas might not be yucky but they havent played anyone. Barnes prob deserves the benefit of the doubt. The rest .... YUCK!
We’ll be up and down. Our perimeter defense is incredible but we lack any inside scoring threat, size, and depth and all our weapons are guards. When you’ve got guys like Mason Jones and Isaiah Joe that can put up 30 on any given night you’ve got a chance... but we aren’t there yet. I think we are a fringe tourney team as of now. Our game @ Indiana next week will be a good sign of where we are at.
We can't score like we did the past few years. I believe our defense is very good. I'm kinda nervous about league play.
SEC as a whole sucks this year. Florida not living up to expectations, Arkansas picked 11th and should finish about there in league play with how we've played our non conference schedule.
and we still sit outside the top 30 in the AP poll I don’t really care because conference is really all that matters, but we are still paying for past collapses when we’ve been ranked in the non conference the past 7 years. Before this season we hadn’t had a P5 non conference road win since like 1995 vs Mizzou. Muss has two in his first 12 games as a coach here. I couldn’t have a bigger boner for the guy
Vols aren't making the tournament this year. Good thing Barnes has help on the way, because his last few classes haven't developed or have left the team. Jordan Bowden regressing the way he has is something to behold. He must be pressing trying to hard. Losing Turner didn't help either.
Fantastic win for UGA. People clowned on him but Crean has done a nice job there early on. Those jerseys were dope too.
Not sure who clowned on him, but he’s a similar coach to Pearl I think. Once he gets recruiting momentum look out.
I clowned on him. Still think he’s a shitty coach. Edwards is a top 3 player in the country and Hammonds is very good too. Hopefully he can get them to the tourney with that young core. Let’s wait and see how he does in conference play
You say Pearl is a shitty coach as well, but having good players seems to make that less of a problem. Crean can stockpile talent just by recruiting his home state well.
He had a bad game but y’all aren’t going anywhere without him. Edwards is still your best player and just his presence changes people’s defensive plan.
