You didn't know about it until THIS incident? How is that even possible? It was brought up during the Kavanaugh hearings when the lady behind him was doing it. There's lots of pictures of groups of white people (including Roger Stone, police officers, etc. )ALL throwing up the "okay" symbol. I remember the circle game growing up, but I hadn't heard anything about it for DECADES prior to the last couple years.
re: Out-of-network restrictions That's one good argument against this notion that private healthcare provides freedom and options that socialized does not. The current and previous systems have been horribly limited and limiting for a great percentage. One of the other main drawbacks of private healthcare is that it limits worker freedom since many with employer-backed healthcare are effectively unable to leave bad jobs. Or they take bad jobs because it's the only one with halfway decent coverage. Imagine the mobility if employees are no longer handcuffed by their employer's coverage. Corporations cry about the costs they incur and pat themselves on the back for "helping" us, but I think deep down underneath they love this prison built for the underlings: "You want to leave this dead-end job with low pay and soul-crushing management? Good luck affording your diabetes medication. Hope you don't die. LULZ."
