Yes Yes If we lose and the Steelers lose to the Ravens we are in as long as one of: Raiders lose to Denver or Jags beat Colts If we lose to the Texans and the Steelers win we are out.
rookie Kearse was on a level I don't think anyone will ever touch Conklin was incredible as a rookie CJ in 2008 (especially since he was splitting carries w/ LenDale) AJ Brown those gotta be the best rookie seasons we've seen since the Titans came to town. Am I missing anyone?
I absolutely love those drives where we just give it to Henry every play and he demoralizes the other team for an entire drive
breaking news: sports fans say stupid things on the internet out of passion I hated the fact we used a second-round pick on a dude we refused to make the focal point of our rushing attack hopefully you're still on the Preds bandwagon
I’ve never stopped cheering for the Titans or Preds. Fuck AJ & the Texans. Hit a grav and chill out. No sense in getting worked up over a message board post.
Titans were so good upon coming to town that I really took for granted how special it is to make the playoffs 99 00 02 03 07 08 then not again till 2017. And now hopefully we don't blow this and you can add 2019 to the list. The 2020s should be a better decade than this one
The rushing title is cool and all but Henry keeping his legs as fresh as possible for the game in new England is cooler
What's the all time record for most interceptions in a career? Byard might break that record by the time his career is over
Colts fixing to lose to the Jags and have a losing record while we make the playoffs by winning in Houston for the first time since 2011 I support the direction things are heading
We were 2-4 and looked dead and buried with a completely worthless offense and then Ryan Tannehill, Derrick Henry, and AJ Brown all turned into demi-gods. Been a pretty fun season
from the ESPN writeup: It was his (Henry's) sixth 100-yard rushing game this season, the most by a Titans player since Chris Johnson had eight in 2010. The Titans are 5-0 this season when Henry runs for 100 yards or more. Henry has 16 rushing touchdowns this season, the second most in a season in Titans history. The franchise record is 19 rushing touchdowns in a season by Earl Campbell in 1979, according to ESPN Stats & Information research. Brown finished the game with four receptions for 124 yards and a touchdown. He became the first Titans rookie wideout to gain at least 1,000 receiving yards since Ernest Givins did so in 1986. One of Brown's receptions resulted in a 51-yard touchdown. That gave him four catches of 50 yards or more -- the most by a rookie since Hall of Famer Randy Moss had five in 1998. Since the 1970 merger, the only other rookies with at least that many 50-yard receptions are Isaac Curtis (5 in 1973) and Willie Gault (4 in 1983), according to the Elias Sports Bureau.
Conklin has greatly improved the last half of the season What are yalls thoughts on using a 2nd or 3rd round pick on Travis Etienne? Was having this conversation today and I think he'd be the perfect compliment to Henry as a change of pace back that can catch out the backfield.
I personally wouldn't target any backs that early because the offense seems just fine as is and would prefer to spend those picks on OL/DL/CB. We can probably find competent backs in the really late rounds of the draft or undrafted guys but if Robinson does do something like that, Etienne would be high on my list of backs to target. And I promise I won't bitch about it on here or in real life regardless of what he does. Fucked up the kicking situation this year, but we still made the playoffs. So at this point in Robinson's tenure he's brought us a couple playoff trips (after drafting #2 in 2015 and earning the #1 pick in 2016) and our first playoff win since 2003. And he has seriously retooled the roster with some fucking ballers through the draft (and made the incredible trade for Tannehill) 16: Conklin, Henry, Byard 17: Smith, Brown 18: Evans, Landry (four picks in this draft and we got two total dudes) 19: Simmons, Brown not everyone you draft needs to be a star. But this roster has more star potential on it right now than it ever did under Ruston Webster that's for sure and probably the most since the early part of Mike Reinfeldt's time as GM J Robinson has been a heck of a GM
