Our current starting QB, who is our normal backup, is so banged up he can barely complete a pass. Apparently there is zero better QB options on the roster until he gets healthy, so it’s likely our best WR will be the QB

Why would any quarterback trust their career with Jim Harbaugh at this point? He's totally gone away from the system that protects the QB with a great running game and play action. He's a fish out of water.
He was actually pretty good at making the correct read and running in 2018. Then something changed in 2019. Even when it was obvious to everyone that the read should have been keep, he'd just keep on giving the ball to the RB for minimal gains. I can't imagine it's something the coaches were having him do on purpose, but it was extremely noticeable that something fucky was going on. I remember him randomly finally keeping one late in the season, and breaking a huge chunk play, and being all:
