Most bowls don't matter. LA Tech has won 6 in a row with Skip Holtz, Marshall had won 7 in a row. Its matchups and shit like that. If it ain't a NY6 it really is hard to care. Also lol
If you want us to stay out of your thread maybe quoting us isn't the best strategy? Also, wouldn't Virginia be your biggest win of the year?
SEC teams out here with staffs made of co-inside linebacker coaches who makes as much as a defensive coordinator and specializing in recruits with ONLY four characters in their first name because five would be under the long snapper coaches duties acting like we are on a level playing field.
You can’t be based purely on money. College football is an old money game where you just have to get lucky when the next round of musical chairs starts. I mean look at Rutgers. No reason they should be elevated over UCF. Spoiler But that still doesn’t mean that UF and UCF fans can’t make fun of each other. UF > UVA > Pitt > UCF
Announcer for the Outback bowl: “This isn’t Auburn not being into this game. This isn’t like a couple years ago.” is this like 3 years in a row the announcer for the auburn bowl game has to make an excuse for losing to us? Auburn must put it in their media notes or something
Auburn takes the lead - "See there's the bigger SEC power showing their dominance over a smaller foe" 30 minutes later and UCF wins.."ah they were never motivated"
So I guess good hire? https://www.desmoinesregister.com/s...-become-ucf-offensive-coordinator/2791390001/
Thoughts on Jovan Dewitt? We just hired him for ST/OLB, Nebraska fans don't think too kindly of him but I'm taking their views with a grain of salt as nothing seems to be working for them right now.
that seems to be the impression I've gotten, similar to the guy he's replacing but I guess the upside is that he's previously worked with our DC ahh well, see you in September, barring hurricanes and what not
You guys have any players leaving early? Looked at your depth chart and looks like we both had pretty young teams this past year
Not likely, Surratt was a possibility but it's just been confirmed today he'll be back, Newsome at WR is the only other guy who may test the waters, but I'd be shocked if he left
Supposedly Gabe Davis is the only guy leaving early. Should have Grant, Gowan, Collier, Robinson and potentially Brandon Moore all back in the secondary next year
Yeah thats awesome. Best secondary we've ever had for sure. Honestly could be a top defense if we can replace Evans.
Interested to see if we add any other grad transfers. I feel like they usually don’t pan out though. They’re usually leaving for a reason.
So Lebby being replaced with Golesh who seems awesome. Golesh also replacing a coach we allegedly had named Jon Cooper but I can't confirm he was ever really here. Tucker getting a promotion to Co-OC so guessing someone made a run at him, I like him a lot. QBs now going to a guy named Joey Halzle who apparently is like the protege of Heupel. He doesn't have any Baylor stink on him and overall I'd say is handsome so I'm good with this. Looks like upgrades all around to me.
I watched the Clemson game and then the destruction of nc state, that freshman QB is going to be awesome.
awesome, so happy for him. Every game this year I checked the stats hoping to see his name in there. They are finally letting him do what he did so well here, stand up in an LB slot and blitz, dude can find the holes in the o-line and get downhill in a hurry.
we should've been ranked. glad to see writers agree. stumbled this season but was still a great year.
We’re pretty solid everywhere assuming our guys make strides in the offseason. DL and OL desperately needs improvement. Especially the OL. That’s my biggest concern since we’re losing JJ and Brown. Neither was great but it’s not like the backups were much better. Every game we’ve lost the last two seasons, it was because we couldn’t protect the QB.
Plus we are pretty good at WR but we will miss how good Gabe was. Don't think anyone will step in and be as consistent he was. We are still good but not sure we have a future NFL guy at WR for the 1st time in years.
Scott Frost fired OC Troy Walters. Frost is basically the OC just like he was here. Why fire the figurehead OC? No one is really buying that move fixing anything right?
Just got a jersey as a gift that I'm fairly certain is of the Chinese knockoff variety but actually am impressed that they used a font on the number that's close to ours.
