I would guess that, but really could be whichever movie they decide to tease Galactus in the post credits.
Damn I really thought Marvel was past this. Derrickson seemed genuinely excited about making Marvels first horror movie
Agreed. The first Dr. Strange was good, but I don’t think many people argue it’s a Tier One Marvel movie. This isn’t like losing a Waititi, Gunn, or Russo’s in the middle of a project.
Movie should be cool and give Leto his chance to pull a Reynoldsian Lantern-to-Deadpool turnaround, after his Joker...but I’m way more excited about the possibilities for the long-run. Do we get Blade’s intro in this movie? Do they use his comic origin? Does Morbius get multiple movies and the opportunity to be a Spidey villain and/or time with Ghost Rider and the rest of the Sons? Tons of possibilities here. Also, I’d completely forgotten about him nearly being the guy standing on the building roof in the post-credits scene of the original Blade movie.
I can't see Blade being involved in this at all, since this is Sony and Spider-Man is the only character that will flit between MCU and Sonyverse
Didn't bat an eye at the firing of Derrickson Yes it will be the Marvel Horror film, but it is still Disney/Marvel. You are on a conveyor belt of doing what they want, while being able to add your touch. But if you don't do what they want, goodbye. Taika basically forced their hand because he's so fucking good. Derrickson is easily replaceable This movie may not seem like it to the average viewer, but it is the most important film of the MCU going forward. It comes at a time when Disney acquires FOX and can not use 'mutant' among other things. They need to get it right, and they don't care how many people they use to get it done.
Probably had a bit to do with all this https://www.thedailybeast.com/insid...eath-threats-drug-abuse-and-biting-their-baby
Apparently not. He's still attached and will be featured. This seems more becuase they need it to fit in the larger MCU timeline and it's too soon
Sony just needs to stick to the campy antihero Marvel films because that looks as good as Venom was. Let Feige keep doing his thing with Spidey and these will be seen as a welcome detour.
Even with the loose MCU connection, I can't see this being a big success, certainly not as much as Venom was. Venom was famous enough to work as a solo film. Morbius is a nobody. He's not big enough as a Spider-Man rogue to work solo. He's a vampire. That being said, Sony will play up the MCU stuff big time to convince idiots in the general audience that this is the next MCU film. It'll cross 500mm worldwide on what is probably a sub-100mm budget.
no, it's on everything. That game screams dead on arrival. edit: it's being released on everything but the Switch, actually.
I don’t think it’ll ever be fully finished think crystal dynamics / square Enix are way in over their heads with such an ambitious AAA project
Games have gotten too big and expensive, thus necessitating the need for a ton of sales to justify the work. There are small indie games and there are giant AAA titles. There needs to be more in-between.
Made it to the end of my chronological rewatch. Endgame is on now. Man what an open, you know what’s coming with Clint but still, just hits you
Scott running to Cassie’s house and slamming the doorbell repeatedly and that entire scene is just, damn. God this movie is good
I’m here for the Shaun updates. Such a great call by Russo’s to open with that scene instead of end IW with it like they originally planned. I was so confused at first, I thought it was a trailer for the Hawkeye show or something....then damn.
They do a good job of mixing the scenes for rewatch. The Scott old man/baby/teen scene to lighten things up after the I Love You 3000 scene then serious Tony/Pepper talk
