A concierge is like the Winnipeg equivalent of a geisha. This is a woman who has been trained in the fine art of fanciness and pleasure. And when you meet one, it is intoxicating.
My rewatch just started the Season 9 slog but Creed saying “ The Taliban is the worst... Great heroin though” makes it worthwhile
Andy has a great line that episode too. "I give to a foundation that teaches homeless children nautical flag signaling. It changes lives."
Michael on his way to Niagara with “Going to a wedding” on the back windshield and full cans of pop tied on the car makes me laugh every time.
That sounds familiar, but I can’t clearly recall it. There are so many things to pick up on over 200+ episodes. I’ve been through the series dozens of times as my background/don’t want to focus show and there are always things that I missed it don’t remember.
I know the Pam/Jim relationship is a drag at times, but I didn't realize people actually hated the wedding episode.
I think there is some confusion ITT. First, the wedding happened in like season 5. 2nd, I think racer is referring to hating all the "discord" going on in the Halpert marriage during season 9 and not the wedding episode itself which was absolutely delightful
I love EP1 of the last season. Dwight and Clark in that episode are great. Dwight: In a way it’s like I have a son. And who knows? Maybe someday they’ll hire someone who looks like a younger version of him. And then I’ll have a grandson. Dwight: So what kind of farming you into, huh? You more of a fruit man or a root man? Clark: Is this—is this like code for gay stuff? Cause if so, that’s totally fine. Like, I’m fine with it. But you should know that I’m into the ladies. Dwight: Spoken like a true root man.
I think that's the point of the joke though. It was like 2 years after the original video came out and was clearly played out at that point. So clearly a bunch of people at a paper company would still think it's cool while the rest of the world had already moved on.
This is probably common knowledge, but I didnt know Bob Odenkirk auditioned for Michael. I can see him different, but very good Michael. The Office Ladies briefly mentioned he auditioned.
You basically do see him as Michael when he’s the manager of the company Pam interviews with in Philly.
I don't think he could pull off the "loveable" part of the "loveable idiot" that Michael was. He would seem to be more of a sleazy David Brent type.
Random, but Rainn Wilson’s Joker costume/impression might be the best I’ve ever seen from someone who hasn’t starred as the Joker
Webster's dictionary defines wedding as the fusing of two metals with a hot torch. Well, you know something? I think you guys are two medals. Gold medals.
Kevin was a really great character with the some great lines before they turned him into even more of a bumbling idiot that couldn't complete a sentence.
