Michael Jackson was a big one. I was working at Target as a cashier one summer and a bunch of people came in and kept buying his CDs. Finally after the 3rd I asked someone if he died because she was the third person to buy his CD in the last 15 minutes at my register
I’m sure they have more sources than anyone in the LA area especially when it comes to first responder / law enforcement celebrity related news
Dale Earnhardt was huge as it happened at the height of NASCAR's popularity, but it was nothing like this for sure.
You (at least I) subconsciously think people like him are all going to live healthy lives to an old age. This is truly surreal.
The Fox News anchor said he’s survived by his wife and 4 daughters so hopefully that means they weren’t
there hasn't been a commercial US airline crash since 2009, it's ridiculously safe. if I was worth a billion dollars I'd still fly commercial.
Wasn't his biggest fan and watched him destroy the Magic in the Finals but tearing up pretty hard. This sucks.
ESPN has on its channels: pro bowl, x games, ufc re-run, and women's college basketball They can't break into one of those for coverage?
True, although that’s also due to the way “commercial flight” is defined. As far as large passenger jets flown by major airlines go, it’s very safe. But there are plenty of publicly-offered flights, such as tour companies, that most people would consider a “commercial flight,” which go down every year.
Pretty sure the Gulfstreams aren’t the ones that crash, single and twin prop enthusiasts though.... Helicopters seem to be on a different level, even in the military it seems they go down a ton
This is only the 4th crash of this helicopter type since it was introduced in the 70's, helicopters are much safer than you think.
