They're the absolute top of my list for acts I want to see live that I haven't yet. Just saying, I loved Random Access Memories so much I definitely wouldn't turn down another album
I just want another fucking album. Listening to RAM at work. sorry for the bump if it got people popped and locked
I definitely raised an eyebrow at the thread notification. 5 years on. The last gap was 2007 (not truly a new album I guess) to 2013, so maybe next year?
I feel like I can generally will things into existence. So if I start thinking about an album/tour, 75% confident it'll happen. Definitely won't regret that statement
I’ve set my limit to anywhere in Canada or the US. Might consider Europe, but I’m not missing them if I have the chance. I’ve has the okay since for over ten years from my wife. It’s non-negotiable.
Should I start a separate thread for "random days TC gets excited about great music artist Daft Punk"
cannot believe it has been 7 years since RAM. Also, I want to believe, but those just look like normal printouts anyone could have forged. I will continue to hope though
Still makes me mad that that shitty George Clooney movie derailed the sequel to tron legacy. I wanted another 2 hour daft punk video
Discovery Turns 20 on 3/12. Fingers crossed they do something to celebrate. https://www.creativeboom.com/inspiration/daft-punk/
I’ve been trying to imagine how you follow up an album like RAM considering the unique style. Also, given the fact that it felt like a culmination of their life’s work featuring people who influenced them heavily, it’s hard to conceptualize what you would do next that wouldn’t feel kinda hollow. So it’s sad, but I get it. :(
