Does the glass have a slightly green hue to it? I can’t remember what the last year those bottles would’ve had old Stitzel Weller juice in them but I think it’s around then, but if the glass is slightly green that means it’s old stitzel Weller juice if I’m not mistaken.
Saving the regular Hibiki you sent me for myself. I can find this Hibiki (Master Select) at the ATL airport.
Finally got another shelf up and my light re-mounted. Most is on display, but some bourbon is still under the bar, along with backups.
Had a pour of Mckenna 10 tonight since cracking it on Christmas. Now that its opened up a little bit that shit is like liquid vanilla gold.
Thanks, but I wasn’t worried. Maybe I am over trusting, but I have had all good experiences so far in this thread.
How does one figure out which batch they have? Not a bad idea. Might have to try that. And yes, as often as possible. About 4-5x in the past year. Scott’s Cheap Flights is the jam. Let me know if you want to know more, I can send you a link.

Price, proof, and smoothness make it great. Really surprised how easy it is to drink at such a high proof
Rare Breed has been on my list. 101 is what we'd get in my early 20s to get super fucked up. Is it actually legit?
for the price, yes. I used to buy it for the same purposes and was a bit incredulous when I saw bourbon people praising it. It turns out that you don't need to add coke to it. edit: Rare Breed is also quite good, but not very easy to find here. Especially not for around MSRP.
My fave daily drinkers are Russell’s 10 year single barrel, 4R single barrel, Jefferson’s very old (super smooth), obviously McKenna if you can find it anymore.
any brandy/cognac fans here? I need to get some more soon. I usually like to keep a bottle or two on hand.
