2 are struggling teams from other leagues that make us look average when they beat us. Unsure why Aston villa is included.
Game was screaming for Keita. When a team is that good and that drilled defensively we need more creativity from the midfield. Atleti are the best at what they do in the world especially in knockout scenarios.
Origi looked horrible early on but settled in late What caused hendo's concussion? Instead of showing a replay of what happened, tnt shows crowd and coach reactions from earlier that was irrelevant to the injury
I thought it was tightness from the Morata kick he took earlier. Never seemed the same after but tried to play through it.
Think we'll be alright for the second leg, first goal coming in that early destroyed all gameplans and worked into Atleti's hands. Ref was shit but still should have been able to create better chances. Keita, Ox, and Fab mid for the second leg please
I mean it was a absolute luck goal. Game should have been 0-0 and we played horrible with a terrible ref that made us take off our best player at halftime. Think we will be fine... and if not there’s always that league trophy we have been dying to get.
Replays have been getting terrible lately. I was irate watching football games this year, and soccer tv has followed suit with trash camera choices.
Timo Werner, a left back to be named later, and a couple of Dutch 16 year olds in the Summer would be swell.
Glad Hendo is only out three weeks. He will probably miss the return leg with Atleti, but this is much better news than I expected. Fab, Gini, Keita for me. JK keeps putting Ox up front, but that may change now with Hendo out and a clear need for a #8 to step up.
They do suck, but International breaks are far worse, but what’s worse than that? 4 Serie A games postponed yesterday due to coronavirus outbreak, and I think that’s just the beginning. I fear this shit is gonna affect my plans to travel to anfield in 7 weeks.
