not sure exactly what you are looking for in a bag, but this is fantastic for travel: https://www.ebags.com/product/ebags...9BSoDo7vfgd3TtR-atUNv9itBqddPIHhoCUjgQAvD_BwE
I got status on 3 Airlines in 2018-2019 with a previous generation of this bag. It is the perfect carry on backpack. I researched extensively before buying and I’m extremely satisfied. Thankfully don’t have to fly as much anymore but still use it as my daily. Reviews seem to favor the previous generation as well, I recommend searching for the previous version. https://www.osprey.com/us/en/product/nebula-NEBULAF19.html?packfinder=true
bigjrock these are often recommended on the travel forums. https://www.tombihn.com/collections/backpacks/products/synapse-25?variant=7593508110399 https://www.tombihn.com/collections/backpacks/products/synik-30?variant=31121330569279
Those are the ones. Seeing more and more of them when I travel. I recommended Osprey for a lot of years. They amended their warranty to something that was absolute bullshit. Now they’ve gone back to a “lifetime” warranty but with a page or two of stipulations you’ve got to sift through. Ultimately I still recommend them again, and i know they got in an REI situation with people buying ruiner stuff at junk sales and sending it in for a new one, but their initial response made me lose a little faith in how much they’ll actually stand behind their product. I still don’t know how Darn Tough does it. $25 for a pair of socks sound insane, but when you talk to dedicated hikers who’ve cashed in on the free replacement so many times they’ve lost count it’s pretty impressive. I saw an Ask Me Anything one time from their warranty department. They inspect every sock that comes back looking for common failure modes to design out of their product.
sorry I missed the tag on this. Definitely go with other recs on this topic. For daily to/from office I use a Tumi T-Tech Presidio laptop bag that I got in 2011 and it's phenomenal, but I don't think they even make that line anymore. For overnight work trips where I just want to carry a backpack I bought a Travelpro T-Pro Bold pack a few years ago because I'm a big fan of their luggage, but I don't recommend it. I don't hate it enough to spend money on a different one but I definitely regret the purchase.
Any thoughts on Aer for a travel backpack? Like the shoe compartment feature on this one. https://www.aersf.com/travel-pack-2-navy
God damn it. I'm trying to just pull the trigger. Now I have to look at these. Are they worth the money. Usually glasses this cheap are trash.
Worth the money? Goodr glasses are half the price and are great, polarized “knock around” glasses. https://goodr.com/collections/mens-sunglasses Order three or four pair for free shipping, return the two or three pair you don’t like.
That's what I figured. My Maui Jim Pilots were a perfect fit for me. So obviously they're out of fucking stock or stopped making them. They also don't have the other ones I liked. Wanted to get Randolph Archers. But id have to wear them to burn $200
Have these mauis and like them way more than my pair of Randolph's. Frame is flexible and I don't have to worry about fucking them up.
Oh shit. I own these. Couldn't find them. They won't replace the broken arm. The glasses are fine otherwise
looks clean, lacks an outer ugh “stuff pocket”? Like the Osprey I posted above, it’s nice to be to access and store items without having to go into the interior of the bag, especially nice to stuff jackets in the front portion of that Osprey because of the temperature swings that come with commercial air travel. Also I’m not sure that water bottle pocket could accommodate my 32 oz hydro flask. My Osprey easily accommodates two. On the shoe compartment, if I’m traveling that lite I try to get by on the pair of shoes I’m wearing. If I need two pairs of shoes that usually means multiple night stay and warrants carry on luggage. When I was racking up airline miles, a lot of my trips were single day Odysseys (wake up at 4 get home at 1, brutally aggressive traveling) so the shoe compartment wouldn’t be a value add for me.
I actually ended up ordering the small version of that Aer b/c I wanted something that can serve as both an everyday work/laptop bag (and the above is too big for that) and something I can use for 1-3 day work trips. Like the shoe compartment concept for taking shoes to run/workout in. I’ll report back on how it works out.
I did a deeper dive on those. Mainly because they started showing up in my IG feed. Looks like some folks are accusing them of stealing designs from other companies.
How's this holding up? I'm between this and the ebags motherlode. I like it, but I'm not sure about the clamshell setup
These came in and the box said the right size but the actual shoes in the box we’re a couple sizes bigger. Now they’re completely out of the right size Upside is I get to pick any shoe I want at no extra charge.
Just bought a Leesa Hybrid. Pumped to be upgrading to a Cal King from a Queen mattress I got in college
I have the same mattress, completely got rid of the back pain (pinch) I was getting / seeing a chiropractor for.
I bought a Casper 5 years ago and was chatting on their website. Apparently it has a 10 year warranty and if you provide photos of the indentations, they will send you a replacement. As long as you have proof of purchase (they can look it up by email), and lay a tape measure down on the bed, show where in the middle it’s flush, and on the sides there is a depression, it qualifies. Was pleasantly surprised. Getting a brand new one shipped this week.
Not a leesa but I bought a purple mattress recently and my back pain went away in like 2 days. I thought it was from my chair at work and was pleasantly surprised.
BFF and I wrongly assumed every bed came in both King and California King The bed we had previously picked out isn’t available in Cal King, and the person at the furniture store told the BFF that we probably won’t be able to find many Cal King beds in person at stores around town. Guess who is “stressed” and freaking out after 1 hour of bed shopping
Even though I’m only around 6’0, my feet hang off the bed, which I hate. Plus it’ll fit in our bedroom better. Better feng shui, basically
Yeah I thought it was my pickup truck. Got the new mattress for the wife and was really surprised when my back pain went away. Love the Leesa mattress, although if it was a bit more firm I would be cool with that.
