Sure, off the top of my head 1. avoid all non-essential activity 2. Get 3 months of food and necessary medicines 3. All schools should be shut down 4. The virus is everywhere on anything you could come in touch with 5. Best guess (not best case scenario) is going to be 1,000,000 dead in US. And other shit all these idiots need to here. Basically was like “there are parents who think they’ll be at their kids swim meet in three weeks” they need a dose of reality. Also blamed the CDC and was upset how much faith those are putting in Dr. Fauci who has botched this from the start.
I would happily gut Laura Ingraham like a pig and sleep like a fn baby afterwards knowing what a service I just did the world
I do as well. Only one I can’t speak for is UPS. DHL will pretty much work through anything. They kinda pride themselves on being last out, first in. At FedEx now have had quite a few calls the last couple days regarding our network. Based on these calls I don’t anticipate much delay. I’ve got 130 sales reps and expect those without kids who have school closures to be in the office as of now. I do however think we’ll have them working from home at some point in the future. Regional carriers and 3pl’s. Have no clue what they’ll do. We did have one company request a courier sign an affidavit stating they did not have Covid-19 and had not come into contact with anyone who has Covid-19. Needless to say he isn’t signing that shit.
HEB was out of toilet paper Checkout lady and grocery bagger were sent from god. They went so fast and looked exhausted. I hope they get a bonus or something after all the shit they have to deal with this week and beyond
It was Pandemonium at Sam’s Club but I made it out. Had a wonderful African-American checkout lady who when she saw me online said and I quote “Oh Lord look at this white boy”. Spoiler
This is like every bad disaster movie. CNN having guys on taking about the stock market and the economy.
First guy said he did not expect it to be this bad a week ago. Thank you for bringing this expert into our lives CNN
Went to Walgreens to get some extra deodorant/soap/toothpaste/etc., just in case. Quick peek at the Easter candy aisle...did they do away w/ the GOAT Easter candy - SweetTarts chicks, ducks & bunnies? Didn’t see them anywhere.
You gotta get you some of them chronic sinusitis steroid drops, clear that shit right up. If you’re still alive in a month that is
I think this might of been like my third time ever being in a Sam’s Club I didn’t even know they had those. I just jumped in the first line that didn’t have 10 carts in it.
I see it a different way. Maybe this will be the thing that makes people realize how interconnected we all are and eventually leads to a change where hurting your back doesn't mean losing your home.
Things are not pretty when the Mormons and the Church, who practice stock piling a year's worth of food, suspends all gatherings, including worship, as coronavirus outbreak worsens
To what dtx posted, we are screwed as a nation if we can't transition quickly from the 'I hope I can play softball on April 1' to 'I'm glad that we're all basically staying away from others (mostly at home) and saving 100s/1000s of lives.' I'm not sure it will happen.
I think it's happening more than you'd think. At least most state governments seem to be taking it seriously. I think we still have a chance even if we missed a 2 month window because of the broken white house.
My dad is somewhere in the outer ranges of people who are at risk. Not a smoker now, but smoked for 40 years so he has diminished lung capacity. He also has diabetes. Otherwise he's in decent shape for a guy in his mid 60s. "Dad I don't want you to go to the family St. Patrick's Day thing this year" "We'll see what happens"
I believe it's too early to establish a definite yet. Individuals have shown a relapse, becoming infected for a second time. Additionally, individuals have shown the ability to either make a full recovery and develop immunities, or to develop antibodies that do not last that long.
ehhh needing 3 months of food? There isn’t enough for everyone to have 3 months of food. Run low on food and then you run the risk of “it getting real”
my parents, both of which have factors making them higher risk but my dad literally being in the upper reaches of at risk due to being on drugs that suppress his immune system for rheumatoid arthritis continue to contemplate whether they're going to fly to florida for a week monday
My dad has COPD and was supposed to fly to Florida Monday. It took my sister, my aunt and I a lot of time and effort but he finally said he wouldn’t go. My mom was just along for the ride. Thanks mom.
