Am I the only one just finding out that they have rapid corona virus tests? And we are using tests that take days, we don’t have enough of the chemicals to run them and don’t have enough tests? Why aren’t we getting these rapid tests? No US pharma can profit on it?
Amazing to me suddenly everyone thinks as long as they don't die, it's totally fine to get some mystery disease
Anyone else think it is awful suspicious all the states with "outbreaks" are controlled by the democRATs?
my “this is a liberal conspiracy” landlord handles that stuff i am not a peasant who does his own lawncare
I'm not in the medical industry, but a lot of medical products that I've seen often have exp dates wayyyyy out into the future. If that's common, then it's especially damning. No reason we shouldn't have warehouses stacked to the roof w N95s/etc. Rotate them out as new ones are made.
Nine women can’t make a baby in a month. The kind of companies and facilities that can make diabetic test strips for 10’s of millions of people aren’t the same companies that are nimble enough to develop niche testing devices and handle the pharma protocols for producing safe and reliable (correct) test strips. Believe me, if Fortune 100 companies with that kind of production power had teamed up with these boutique labs with these capabilities they’d both be rich. Then again, by the time the market is saturated the demand is likely gone.
well fuck I guess that clears up the mystery of whether or not people are dying without getting tested.
The test failure is not a failure. It's a huge success for the Obstructor in Chief. This was a premeditated plan that they knew would result in many, many more American deaths. They're war criminals.
next week when wife and i go back to work i should: a) take 6 mo old to grandma's house like usual during work day (grandma and grandpa are both 70 yo) b) take him to daycare (still open, not letting kids with 100.4 or above temp in each day) feels like daycare is riskier to my kid but dropping him off at grandma's might be risky to my parents.
Motherfuck. A little sleuthing tells me Brady Sluder is from Cincinnati. Maybe Governer DeWine can sign an executive order to have him castrated the second he gets home.
"For reasons that remain unclear, the CDC opted to design its own COVID-19 test with new primers despite the fact that the World Health Organization had already approved a test developed by German scientists." https://www.vice.com/en_us/article/...nce-in-its-attempt-to-make-a-coronavirus-test
I'm doing consulting work for Johns Hopkins, and they're prepping for the same scenario. About 3 weeks ago they started purchasing plastic to make "homemade" face shields.
americaness is undetermined at the moment. Kid rock has been made the “Americanness czar” by trump and will be weighing in tomorrow.
trump coughing on someone and everyone cheering because the virus has been contained seems like an appropriate analogue
oh god i just signed into facebook for the first time in a few days people sharing posts about how many die from cancer every day so this is all bullshit
South Korea tested 290,000 and found 8,000 positives, less than 3%. We’ve tested 60,000 and found 7,000 positives, more than 11%.
Y’all be sure to take breaks from being plugged into this stuff. It’s very early in the event and your mental health is important, and can impact your immune system and general physical health.
The stress is going to break some families and divorce plus child birth will both be up in 10 to 12 months. I’m smoking cigarettes again.
Good job Abbott. But this is just another RT-PCR test. Completely useless without the Qiagen RNA extraction kits. the POC LFA covid19 tests have little data to support their use to date. I wouldn’t rely on them, yet.
