I ran around for 10 min yesterday and didn’t see anyone before turning it off and getting back on multiplayer.
If you airdrop on the outskirts away from where the circle is going to be then you could pillage for the first 2-3 circles and not run into anyone. When the plane starts check the minimap for the circle and aim for somewhere inside of it. You won’t be lonely at all. or aim for the center most section of the circle and be ready for a fight when you land. Got lucky af doing that our last game and landed on a roof that had a 680. Took out two teams that landed late and only had pistols
Played one game last night. Got like 2 kills, then gulag. Won my way out of that and shot somebody in the back and proceeded to take out his teammate. Was fun.
Hoss Bonaventure im hoping off to get lunch be back on in 30-45 minutes EDIT: Also I’ve been playing hardcore lately because I’m grinding for longshot kills with the Scar. Tedious
Is this (the entire game platform) something I can download or should I still grab a disk old-school style? I know the new warzone thing is downloadable but I would be interested in getting the full package. Off the top of my head I don’t know what my storage capacity is, but I have no problem wiping everything as I don’t really play games anymore.
I don’t know how many games of BR I played on Blops 4 and I once got second by basically stealthing the entire round and losing in the final gun battle. I think I maxed 5 kills. Solo finished a war zone win this morning inside my first 20 games with seven kills. My heart was out of my chest but got fortunate with positioning as final circle played out and had the jump on the final two. I have found that when the circle looks like it’s going to play to a boundary, a lot less people try and get to the boundary than in blops 4 and if you get there first with your team you can defend a decent position really well.
righty and Clutch sight lines for sniping are a lot shorter; so make sure you have a mid range load out
Use this in terms for someone that hasn't played in 5+ years Holy fuck I'm now realizing I haven't played in years
They’ve strategically place objects to obstruct long range view at sniping points; you can snipe but you’ll rarely be able to control a point of the map like you were in MW2. For example: If there’s a massive pathway, they’ll place like a huge object there for people to go around. You want be able to see right through the opening
IMO playing the regular BR as a solo player is actually easier than the new BR-Solo mode. Guessing that's because the jumps of solos cover all the typical nooks and cranny diamonds in the rough that would normally be wide open in regular BR mode. Got to double digit wins last night. More of them have actually come from 2 man squads than anything else. Probably because getting 3 crack heads moving in sync is tougher than 2 and less odds of dying trying to revive at a buy station. Pretty sure 4 of the 2-man wins were Military Base jumps. Plenty of $, recon flags, and a heli. 4-5 recon flags over the course of the game is almost mandatory
Thought I captured the biggest choke I've seen thusfar, yesterday. Would have been my 4th win of the day. Me GBG_24 and my buddy got down to final circle. Buddy is the only one alive with ~6 others and he's on the top roof alone. Jumps down to a wide open roof that would have given him an overwhelming chance to win.... "I swear I pressed A and the chute didn't come out". Got 2nd place
I stopped using sniper unless I'm with GBG and know we're going to that super tall skyscrapper really early in the round. But we pretty much bank on getting a 2nd loadout with Ghost perk once it gets later into the round which i'd keep the m4 from sniper loadout and get a 60-round AUG as 2nd gun. For your problem w sniping though - the easiest places we've found to control with sniping involved (aside from tall ass roofs, moreso talking about outskirts of the map) is the 2-story burb homes in the hills area and farmland. and smaller 2-floor warehouses in Quarry and West side of the map. Most have one stairwell to claymore and 2-3 top floor windows looking in 3 of the 4 directions you need to watch. I think over half my wins ended in the Hills. Spoiler: one of them gf's cat trying to eat my hand/controller for the first 60 seconds
I just can’t get into Warzone. It feels like it moves waaaaay too slow for my tastes and the movement still feels clunky. Maybe I’ll try it again this weekend with the squad. Going from dropping 1k-2k damage a game while grappling everywhere on Blops 4 to feeling like I’m waiting around all day for the zone and running in mud has me discouraged.
I didn’t play blackout, but the only movement issue, imo, is the vaulting on rocks is non-existent. I prefer no grapplers, personally. That’s what vehicles and shit are for.
Sniping does suck for the most part in multiplayer game. You’d probably prefer using the Kar98 over the snipers. All the snipers have shit ADS speeds
I didn’t like grappling at first but the increased movement speed and mobility lets you pull off some nasty stuff when you run up against teams that have the drop on you. I prefer run and gun style over slow and tactical. Once I get the menus down and the controls become natural I’ll probably enjoy it more.
If you’re ever waiting for the circle find a flag near you. I used to camp more solo until I started doing this. Now I camp, but in a sexy ass house in the middle of where the final fights gonna be
My biggest newbie issue with CoD is the one hit kill radius of the sniper weapons is too large. Hit me in chest and up....sure but you graze my fucking shoulder or thigh and you drop me gtfo
This has always been one of my biggest complaints. Especially in hardcore a smg can kill from across the map in like 3 shots. I just want The type of weapon to be true for certain distances. Smg for close assault for medium and sniper for long. This way if you want to run and gun smg is best but you not going to quick scope me halfway across the map and get me in 3 shots.
Thanks to GBG_24 Trofie for inviting me to play last night, VictorJ24 as well. Definitely realized after last night, I’ve been playing too much Shipment playlists leveling up weapons then playing bigger maps/game modes. Anyone else can add me, gamer tag and activision tag are both : WolverineJack usually get on around 9 est
I hope whenever fixing lame shit with guns happens they fix "quick scoping" for snipers (marksmans need to be toned down a little too) and that lame as fuck jump snipering that's starting to become a thing.
That’s not happening. Quick scoping is already nerfed hard with the lack of mobility in the snipers on this game. The DMRs won’t get nerfed, too. You pretty much need to use the kar or mk to try to quick scope now.
Love Warzone. I usually didn’t have an issue winning in BR games like Fortnite but this game is tough.
I haven't really played a COD online since probably MW3, but I gave Warzone a try given that I'm working from home like many. I never had the patience for SnD back in the day, and BR feels similar. Plunder is a lot more fun to me. Prolly gonna be sticking to that. I suck ass right now though and mostly have no idea what is going on.
