Someone needs to ask the POTUS about spending lots of money in furthering products like the 3D printed antiviral, reusable, and recyclable masks claimed in the flowing link rather than giving big corporations money to make one use masks which required liability laws to be changed so that the hospitals could use them or giving them money to change production lines. Seems like we are using mid twentieth century solutions rather than using the benefits of modern technologies. Especially since the patent has been made an open public source. https://www.3dprintingmedia.network...nt-antimicrobial-masks-on-a-global-scale/amp/
To be fair, that was a single poll. Other polls have him in the low 40s. Aka where his approval rating has been his entire presidency
COBRA is also expensive as shit typically because you now have to cover your former employer’s contributions
My plant kicked everyone out except operators, shift foremen/shift supervisors and a skeleton crew of maintenance personnel. Chances are it'll get inside the plant eventually with 150 operators working rotating shifts. Other plants in the area are talking about locking operators inside the plant which I'm not too crazy about, don't think we have the logistics to pull that off anyways though so I'm not too worried.
Joe Biden's taking the "can't run negatives ads against my thoughts on response if I don't give any thoughts on response manpointsathead.gif" strategy. Can't blame him
Yeah COBRA usually costs you 102% of the total premium cost. (They allow for a 2% admin fee). People don’t realize that a lot of the time they are paying like 20% or less of the total premium out of their paychecks.
This is kinda our little bubble here. But don’t discount the number of people who literally stood up and cheered when the president called that absolute softball question dumb and the reporter terrible. Or the number of the people who absolutely laugh at the “low” numbers. Trump 100% comes out of this with a stronger base.
big fan of my private insurance and how they dictate the exorbitant prices we pay for our healthcare and glad the dumbocrats aren’t eliminating the middle man with M4A
Guys, no one is caping up to suggest that COBRA is a wonderful option. It’s an option to avoid even more costly child birth expenses as an uninsured couple. Buying through Florida’s exchange is also an option.
Based on three years of this idiot's admin, Dana Bash's comments were a little misguided in thinking that he had grown into an adult. Wrong.
But no one else. He could call them fat inbreds (he did and they are) and they would celebrate his honesty (they did).
Depends on the state but most of those claims will be denied, at least in Florida. Impossible to prove where you got infected.
there’s a reason why you see large corporations reacting quicker than small business — they have better lawyers this is a good idea, personally I’ll make my payment and let it all apply to principal, but for a lot of folks this is great
It’s a good thought, but from a production capacity standpoint, 3D printing is not going to give us even a fraction of what we will need. It would be a drop in a very large bucket and will be extremely expensive (not that it matters anymore). Not sure of the material makeup, but we would be better off tooling up quickly and injection molding these things if they are primarily plastic. 2 hours to produce a 3D print vs a few seconds to produce an injection molded piece. Not sure what materials are involved though
Wow Trump's tangent at the end on the outdated system and how they haven't gotten the credit they deserve is cringeworthy.
And yet I just got a long email from Beto about how he and his family are coping with social distancing
If you die or face serious medical issues because your employer was aware that a coworker likely was infected with corona and forced you to work anyway, we’re not even in comp anymore. We’re talking statutory intentional tort and the employers loses comp protection in Florida.
Counterpoint to the assertion he will emerge with a stronger base from this crisis. The speed and ferocity in which Trump has wrecked the economy due to indecisiveness and inaction, including but not limited to the massive unemployment wave that is about to hit, will doom him. For all his failures as a leader and human being, the fact that we are going to be in the midst of a major Recession will wreck him come November. Layer on the coming surge in infections and deaths that could have been avoided had he taken action on COVID-19 from the start, and he's screwed. He's on borrowed time at this point. He's lost Wall Street, his base is about to take it on the chin as a result of the virus/economy and he's going to be (rightfully) hammered on the fact that his ineptitude and incompetence needlessly cost American lives.
