Post from a friend who finally got a test and tested positive: Day 11 of 100-102 fever, cough and aches. My wonderful caretaker of 30+ years found a way to get a CoronaVirus Test this past Monday. Test results came back positive today and I have it. I’m relieved to finally know what has been kicking my butt for the past 11 days. What’s it like? It’s *^#+!!!! annoying. It like Groundhog Day everyday. Sleeping at night is the only time I don’t cough and all I take is NyQuil when I go to bed. Wake up every morning and have a fever of 100-102 but I sleep well at night. I love the night. Tylenol fights the fever well during the day. Physical activity (like taking a shower) wears me out and makes me cough. Talking makes me cough. I’ve been fortunate that my breathing hasn’t been compromised. We have dad’s old Oximeter to monitor my blood/oxygen level. No hospital, no doctor visit, just texting with doctors and friends. The body aches were particularly bothersome the first 10 days but I’m either getting used to it or I’m headed in the right direction. That’s my take from here. I wish you all the best and please take this seriously. I thought I was being careful and I was washing my hands at every turn and still got it. Stay home.
Here we go Florida is still not aggressively testing. The Florida numbers would be much much higher if we were. As we continue to slightly increase testing, the numbers will continue to aggressively climb.

I'm sure it's been addressed before but is there any data showing what higher temperatures might do to the virus? Do they know if it has defenses against heat and humidity that the flu doesn't?

What am I missing about this unemployment issue? If you can't file for unemployment if you voluntarily quit your position then on what planet does Graham's point make sense? Are they worried that laid off people will not want to find employment or is this just more mean-spirited, hatred of the lower class by the GOP? Trying to figure what the GOP angle is in this, because the argument they are putting forward is illogical.
We are. Contractor ran us 50k plus over budget so paid out of pocket after that. If it ever quits raining long enough I will get my brick put on the foundation and my concrete poured and then it is done. Thanks again everyone that helped during the process.
