Lost my grandmother to COVID on Tuesday. She inadvertently contracted it from her in-home caretaker, who herself now appears won’t make it either. Just an awful situation. No one should have to go through this. She was lucky to have a nurse at her bedside, but it was beyond painful that none of us could be there. There is a very real human toll amidst all of this. Hopefully no one else here has to experience it.
