If that’s is what he meant, that makes no sense. It would still be the states using them and asking the feds for them. Unless he wants us to believe the states are just doing curbside pickup.
Significant other has become a fan of a local kombucha brewer and bought a shit ton of it right before we started quarantining. Made some margaritas with tequila, triple sec, margarita flavored kombucha, and lime juice. After having 3 I can say with confidence they are good.
It's things like that that make me think our country is irreparably broken. The most basic laws/standards/conventions now mean nothing. Life is short, and we all feel that even more clearly today. Makes one start looking at other countries that are functional and ones that behave like a first-world country.
Holy shit at kushbag, this useless federal government in a time of immense crisis. Either with(most likely) or without Putin’s direction, these assholes are trying their best to get this country to split up.
The thing about it is that the crisis is somewhat isolated in several places across the country. NYC, New Rochelle, Albany (GA), MI, LA, and some others. While not ideal for beating the virus, this staggered wave of infections should allow the fed govt. to respond 'very strongly' in each of these areas. When others spike later in the month, then transfer resources to the new hot spots. But alas. We're led by corrupt children.
Some reporter should ask Trump exactly what is the expertise that his son in law has which makes him a valuable advisor for the pandemic response? As far as I can tell he is nothing more than a political advisor who has nothing to add except political calculations. And if, as Trump insists, he actually wants to remove politics from the response shouldn’t he remove his own political advisors from the task force?

Agree. And this is a very chaotic, out-of-control situation in all of these cities/states. Putting the current admin aside, there are lots of provisions in our laws that would enable us to deal with this very effectively. Yet, we're fucking up every aspect of the federal response. It's hard to imagine what it would look like if every big city were exploding with infection at once. Gov. Cuomo just said vents are going for $50k apiece now, up from $18k.
Word coming out of the UK that their national health service is actually sending coronavirus tests to Germany to get tested because it’s quicker than using UK labs. What a disaster.
decided to drive over to a dispensary I haven't utilized in a while and drove over there right at the start of rush hour. No traffic at all and found a parking spot right in front of the place on the city's main street. So that was really nice
