The best way I heard it discussed recently was when Jesus was asked what the number one commandment was, it was to love God. When asked what the second most important commandment is, he answered “to love ones neighbor as you love yourself”. Most equate that to mean to love and protect them as you would yourself. This creates a responsibility to take every action to protect those neighbors from being infected by practicing responsible social distancing. Going to church and ignoring the safety risk is ignoring and disobeying the second greatest commandment given by Jesus according to most religious scholars.

I want to say dont freak out but I know that's impossible. My mom first started coughing Wednesday and called Dr on Thursday. Dr gave her meds to treat bronchitis and sent her for a test on Friday. Still no other symptoms and her cough is getting a little better so I'm hopeful. If one good thing came out of this, now my dad takes it seriously. I've never talked to him like I did on Thursday. Told him to stay the fuck at his house. He doesn't need to go to Lowes and the grocery store every day bc he's bored. He seems to have taken it to heart and hasn't left the house since then. Kinda feel bad bc I told him I'd never forgive him if mom had it but it needed to be said. Told him the roles were reversed. When I was a kid and he covered all my bills, he got to make the rules. Now I'm covering all of their's bc their stores are closed so now I get to make the rules. He didn't like that lol.
