Why doesn’t every member of the press Corp ask Trump non stop about Kushner at these garbage briefings? (I know the answer).
We need to treat Trump like a different type of POTUS. The media: Trump read from a teleprompter, he's the new Winston Churchill.
What he's saying needs to be applied to the GOP, not Trump. We still have an electorate and media apparatus that is unwilling to accept the truth that the GOP is a criminally corrupt enterprise and an enemy of American democracy.
We all agree that Lockhart's tweet has been common knowledge for years now (among ~45% of us). I like his strong language and he's absolutely right about Trump being a sociopath. But there's really not an opposition party. There's a blog or a tweet here or there, but there's no unified opposition being voiced in a forceful way. The Dems should have been holding a daily presser since at least the release of the Mueller report (prob before). Lay out the facts and call him what he is every day. Instead, they're cowed by the Rep please for no poloticks and there will be plenty of time for post mortems and we need to look ahead and not in the rear view mirror.
Lotta people are about to die because our so called president thinks he’s smarter than a scientist. Everyone who voted for him should be sterilized
Far as I can tell after meetings her advisor sold stocks in shopping companies (TJ Maxx and Lululemon), travel companies (Booking), while simultaneously buying stock in work from home apps (Citrix) and a company that makes PPE (Dupont). This is bold even by Trump standards.
I'm skeptical after 2018 but pretty much everyone acknowledges Desantis has fucked up big time. Trump showing up at those stupid rallies with Desantis could really hurt him but .
Joe Rogan said he’d vote for Trump over Biden. Not that his opinion is particularly important, but I happened to see this on reddit and had a laugh. Joe Rogan is the exact type of person who would endorse Bernie and vote for Trump anyway. Now that he can be counter mainstream, he’ll feel less ashamed saying he’s actually planning to vote for trump. Which, based on 3+ of evidence, makes no sense whatsoever. Glad I’ve severely limited my consumption of his podcasts the last few years.
A buddy sent this to me last week. Rogan is a fucking moron & the following he has is astonishing. UFC idiots. His reasoning was essentially "Biden couldn't handle this and he'd have to rely on his cabinet to help him." I mean WHAT THE FUCK. Oh, how fucking horrid would it be for a fucking president who knows jacks shit about pandemic responses to relying on highly educated ppl who have dealt with pandemic responses. Our country is fucked. We're so fucking stupid it hurts.
Rogan is obviously very curious and has had a lot of exposure to people with different backgrounds. His political opinions have always been lacking any real understanding of the facts, but having people on like the disease expert a few weeks ago is interesting. Oh, and his comedy is fucking awful. Low budget Sam Kinison, mimicking Joey Diaz punchlines from his podcast.
#1 reason I don't understand the popularity of his show. He's not fucking funny...at all. And, he's aggressively ignorant.
Of course he fucking did. It's not inconsequential if this is a sign of things to come. I have several friends that don't follow politics but definitely lean left when pressed who take Rogan's word as gospel. It's concerning in that it feels like 2016 all over again. These enlightened centrist podcast dumbfucks are one component of the "perfect storm" that elected Trump and it's not nothing that it appears to be happening again. I'm probably just a fucking idiot for thinking it'd go differently this time.
Anybody that watches this and still wants to vote for Trump should be tied up with rocks and dropped into the deepest part of the ocean.
