Day had a bad class in 19, decent class in 20 and is having a good class in 21...so he is a good not great recruiter. Congrats!
Michigan fans, lets just make this easier on everyone and you guys hand over Edwards. This way no one gets hurt.
One could argue that Day's biggest recruit of 2019 was an unrefined, poorly coached quarterback from an underachieving school down south who would become a Heisman finalist only one year later.
I’m embarrassed because I just went to a recruiting website and saw the class that Ryan Day signed in 2019.
He was announced the Head Corch at the end of the 2018 season. In December, I believe. 90% of that recruiting class was already signed. Dummy.
Hold on. RaRa is 6'2" 185? No wonder he didn't pick Bama. You need to be at least 297 pounds to play Linebacker there.
Between us and the Vols, I think Bama's LB recruiting has been a mess recently. They'll take any swinging dick they can get.
Braswell, Anderson, Kennedy, Sanders, Robinson 4 Top 40, 5 in top 60 on the composite Not even counting Bratton
In our system, hard to play end unless you’re 270+...all of those guys will play ‘backer. Some will get moved inside, but we need help at OLB ASAP
I think I'll trust the experts over on 247. But in all seriousness, Anderson is a really good player but he got the Bama bump. He just had a good all star week.
I've been drinking alcohol and pouring cocaine into my asshole. I initially thought RaRa was an ILB. I know Bama had missed on Nakobe Dean, Henry T, Walker, etc recently.
My fellow bams think I’m a nut, but wouldn’t surprise me to see him have a Rashaan Evans type career. Move to ILB, flex out and rush the passer in certain packages. By all accounts he’s 6’2 and can’t put on a ton more good weight and loves to hit the shit out of people
Not what I’m saying, he’s not a guy that’s gonna get to 255/260 from what I’ve read. He’s 230 ish now, 235-245 is where he’s gonna settle
Nah he's really good, could be special. I know on our team board we kept wondering why we weren't recruiting him, but we only had one spot for OLB and Sherman jumped on it.
We’ll see I think Braswell, Sanders, and Robinson (who’ll need a year or two) are OLB all the way. Once Moses graduates, would love to see Kennedy and Anderson competing to replace him in 2021. They’ll have Christian Harris beside them to pass the torch
Well you said LB recruiting, not ILB. And I also presumed you were bringing up losing Dean, Too’too, etc....which is absolutely correct. Christian Harris ended up being a massive pull and eval though, he’s gonna be a 3 and out player at ILB. We addressed it big time this last class though
