I've seen enough commentary since posting that to believe that this one was different than the ones prior, and a very enjoyable chance for two elder statesmen to connect and share nerding out and enjoying the catalogs. I still haven't watched more than a minute or two of it, but to me that makes it a bit different and I'll stand by my crankiness with respect to the others that came before last night's.
I think there’s a huge difference in RZA and Preemo and Lil John and T-Pain. I probably would’ve started my complaining on the matter with the latter

Aftermaths handling of Jon Connor is criminal. Guy can rap his ass off and I met him on Bourbon Street one time and he was cool as hell and we talked hip hop for like 50 minutes

Nobody really knows. Aftermath just signed him and basically didnt promote him one single time. Connor has been very open on social media about how he's been waiting to get out of his contract

Just learned “What Kinda Music” on the drums last week. They’re a great duo. Found both of them from listening to Alfa Mist, who would be awesome to get involved in American hip-hop.
Yes I like the new Westside Gunn album. Benny and Conway on a track together is automatic good track. Kind of excited to check out the Buddy and Kent Jamz joint album as well
ZERO misses on Pray for Paris. everyone involved brought their a game. Producers, features (tylers verse on 327 is dumb) and WSG is flawless. if there’s a better album to come out this year then we are getting truly blessed. edit- skits are on point as well. Super fucking dope album. Better front to back than TPIM
