Fair but you have to remember most clubs have a wage structure and can't just hide things in shell companies. Its not just sell Mane, buy Sancho. Its sell Mane, give Sancho 350,000 a week or whatever dumb number United will give him. If you give Sancho that then you have to give Salah, VVD, more than that. Firmino and Alisson would surely want a raise, and so on and so forth.
We'd have to hope Sancho would like the project and choose LFC like VVD did. If not, it's back to trying to hit on a lower prospect and hope he booms like the last few have
FWIW Klopp extended through 2024 and there was some discussion at the time about that giving him enough time to work through a rebuild of this squad and be at or close to a peaking phase again before his contract expires / he leaves. If that’s the case I imagine they were going to run it back once more 20/21 and then start turning over a bunch of guys. Fortunately, the back 4 and goalie all stay the same when that all happens I personally don’t want Sancho. Our recruitment department is way too good at finding undervalued talent to pay 100 million and Madrid tier wages for a Sancho. I’d pay 150 for Haaland before I paid 75 for Sancho.
I think Illini is probably right about wages with him but I feel like you’re severely underrating Sancho.
Could be. 100 million on an English teenager to bring them back to England with the price tag and wages of a guy who has already conquered the world? Sounds like a recipe for disappointment.
Pogba is still fantastic when he tries. I don’t know of any concerns about Sancho with him acting like Pogba has been.
Just when you thought you couldn’t love Klopp any more, he tells you dumb and dumber is his favorite movie
So I’m watching some of this stay and play cup and they said Lindstrom from Brøndby is a huge Liverpool fan and has openly said he wants to get to the semifinals because he wants to get to play vs Trent. Always cracks me up when guys at lower level clubs openly admit their fandom
Connection is Agger I believe. May not be his connection but Agger came from there and went back after LFC.
He doesn’t even play that much and has like 4 of Liverpool’s 8 most important goals in the last 5 years
Not to play the "what if" game, but what if everything would have been postponed prior to our UCL match against AM and we could have had Alisson back for the 2nd leg. Ahh, to day dream.
Wanted him when he was coming from shaktar. Now is a bit late for him unless the market is fucked from the virus.

Oh man, if they made one of these with Gini W, I would be purchasing that for my roommate as his Christmas present. EDIT: Nevermind. Found it. Buying it.
I couldn’t believe the love for Liverpool when I used to work in Norway. The Scandinavians absolutely love them.
Yeah Norway has to have the highest EPL fandom per capita outside of the British Isles. With like 95% of them being United or Liverpool fans.
I'm skeptical but if there is a country that is going to do it, its going to be England because they are even dumber than Americans
Just a heads up. Bookstores in the UK don’t charge extra for signed copies of Milner’s book. Shipping is obviously more though
I’m frustratingly trying to buy one now that they’re back in stock but on the mobile site the drop down for state when you’re in the US doesn’t actually drop down. Then it keeps telling me I have to select a state. I’ll try tomorrow on my work laptop
