If they didn't get it last year when do line was a need and much better talent and depth in the draft then yeah not getting it in the first round this year
My brain has just completely emptied all the shit that happened with the Falcons this offseason. Is Fowler expected to be good I guess alongside Tak?
Right so is there a plan to at least draft someone that could challenge Tak, or someone alongside Grady so that he wouldn't get constantly double-teamed? I'm guessing no
I think we’ve got to go Edge, IDL. I’d prefer we draft two Edge players in next three picks and forget about another interior OL, personally.
Wasn’t expecting this freak out. We didn’t trade up and we didn’t draft a WR. We’ve drafted one player. And he plays defense. Call it a win.
Nobody stood a chance against Burrow but yes he was not good that game. The pick is whatever, I am more so just mad we are in this position BC our shitty team went 6-2 or whatever to end the season.
We really going to get mad at someone projected to go 4 picks later? Who were we going. To take at 16 that made sense and would make us happy?
I know it doesn’t mean anything, but I legit don’t remember the last time the falcons 1st round pick didn’t have a projection of at least 5-10 spots lower than where we got him. That would be fine if our GM wasn’t proven to be terrible at evaluating talent.
Well yea, me too, but this Is where we are and I’m completely indifferent about the pick. Maybe he’s awesome, maybe he’s terrible and it’s TD’s last year because of it either way is a win
Dude was a way better CB when he had arguably the best DL in the history of College football in front of him.
That's the kind of couch you get when you're fucking the interior designer and want to get back at your husband without him figuring it out. Mrs Dmitroff is a cold bitch like that
We made Kiper’s “Head Scratching Moves” list. “the falcons reached for a need, plain and simple. With Okudah and Henderson off the board CI didn’t have any other CBs with 1st round grades. Teams often reach of course, but Terrell was my 7th ranked corner and #61 overall prospect. At 6’1 he is a big corner and he impressed at the combine with a 4.42, but he was way too inconsistent throughout the season, and he didn’t play well down the stretch. He has a tendency to get gravy and doesn’t have first-round tape.” That’s a perfect TD prototype.
We had to take him at 16 because he might not have been there at 47 when we pick again even though he was graded at end of second round talent.
